Your Thursday nights are about to get a lot more interesting. Starting July 23rd, Chef Robyn Almodovar will be hosting a new pop-up dinner series at Kitchen 305 in Sunny Isles Beach: Supper Club Thursdays.
Chef Almodovar, recent Chopped Champion and Hell’s Kitchen top finalist, will prepare a new 3-course meal each Thursday through September 10 and unveil a specialty lounge area with its own paired hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.
Here’s a look at some of the dishes on the lounge menu in the first few weeks:
root vegetables, mixed seafood, Sunday’s gravy and lemon aioli
Porcini Mushroom Risotto Balls
Pecorino Romano and pomodoro sauce
Marinated Black Cod
sweet pea and lava beans, red onion jam and charred pearl onions
short rib chili, crispy kale and pepperoncino crème
homemade lentil chips
The 3-course meal offers a tasty variety of signature appetizer, entree and dessert selections. Here are some items that guests can expect over the 8-course series:
Slow Braised Meatballs
homemade ricotta cheese, pickled shallot, ricotta ensalda and Sunday’s gravy
Deep Fried Egg Salad
frisee, bacon lardon and sherry vinaigrette
fresh branzino, blood orange vinaigrette, black garlic, crispy shallots and harissa oil
Duck Confit Pappardelle
homemade pasta, shaved ricotta ensalada and broccollini
garlic, tomato, mussels, fresh fish of the day and ugly bread
Roasted Half Chicken
crispy potatoes, caramelized onions, eggplant caviar and roasted garlic au jus
Deep Fried Bread Puddin’
white chocolate and cranberry break pudding, homemade chocolate hazelnut ice cream and cookie crumble
Donut Peach and Boysenberry Pie in a Can
Deconstructed Mississippi Mud Pie
cookie crumble, flourless chocolate tarte, semisweet chocolate mousse, orange whipped cream and tuile
