Let Harry’s Pizzeria Come to You!

Miami’s favorite casual neighborhood joint, Harry’s Pizzeria, is hitting road from its headquarters in the Design District as chef/owner Michael Schwartz readies the opening of his first new location in Coconut Grove.

The Genuine Hospitality Group is now proud to offer Harry’s Pizzeria on wheels, bringing the pizza party to you with a beautiful, copper-domed mobile wood-burning oven. This latest offering from the company’s growing off-site events and catering outfit, TGHG Events, makes popping up a Schwartz-approved pizza party virtually anywhere in South Florida a reality.

Like its on-site private parties, Harry’s Pizzeria’s mobile oven option makes for watercooler-worthy office happy hour gatherings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and unforgettable kids’ birthday celebrations. Menus are fully customizable from dedicated pizza parties featuring Harry’s favorite pies, to family-style spreads that showcase the restaurant’s favorite snacks, bright and colorful salads, entrée specials, and desserts.

For menus and pricing, including planning parties at any of The Genuine Hospitality Group restaurants, please reach Lindsay at or 203.313.4503.

National Oyster Day

National Oyster Day is coming up on August 5th and there’s no better way to celebrate than eating delicious discounted oysters throughout all of Miami’s favorite seafood spots. Combine it with discounted drinks and happy hour specials and you’re set to celebrate the glorious holiday in authentic summer style.

Monty’s Sunset in South Beach is an absolute must-hit oyster spot. Stop by for happy hour and enjoy as many fresh $1 oysters as your heart desires. Pair it off with one of Monty’s half-priced drinks, like the signature Pain Remover, and enjoy your oysters and drinks as you watch the sun set and kick back to live music right on the water of South Beach.

You also can’t miss the famed downtown seafood spot, The River Seafood & Oyster Bar. This Brickell favorite boasts fantastic hand-shucked oysters as one of their staple menu items and offers them half-off during happy hour from 4:30 – 7 PM. Enjoy them at the bar with one of their drink specials like the Green Mile, or sit down at one of the River’s intimate tables and dig into your spread of fresh oysters. And if you want to spice things up, try the Oyster Shooters in lemon-thyme vodka for a twist or order them fried, offered on the dinner and lunch menu. While they may not be $1, they sure are worth every crispy and delicious bite to complete the fantastic holiday.

Momo Sushi Shack Opens at the Mondrian

Sunset Lounge at Mondrian is featuring its first pop-up dining concept with Momo Sushi Shack, which is running from now through October. The Michelin Guide-recommended Bushwick, Brooklyn-based Japanese restaurant – known for beautifully designed sushi, extensive vegetarian and vegan options, and heirloom ingredients – will collaborate with Mondrian’s Executive Chef Dustin Atoigue to re-create its celebrated menu at the bay front location.

The restaurant is known for its eclectic style — reflective of the neighborhood and Bushwick residents – in addition to a clever menu of beautifully designed sushi, playful hot dishes and vegan-friendly environment. The pop-up will be accompanied by a Japanese Whiskey Bar. The approachable menu will consist of small plates with prices ranging from $6 – $15 per plate. The destination is designed to cater to guests and locals alike with unparalleled panoramic views of the Miami Skyline.

Summer Cocktails at Batch

Since arriving on the gourmet scene in January of 2014, Batch Gastropub set out to redefine the sports bar model and up the ante when it comes to a pub-centric cocktail. By utilizing fresh, seasonal ingredients and creating in-house mixes, guests are guaranteed the “real deal” when they visit this Brickell spot.

This summer, Batch Gastropub is offering cocktails made with natural ingredients made fresh to order, with the health-conscious in mind. The Sake It To Me is light and simple, made with house coconut-infused sake and muddled cucumber that leave your taste buds feeling refreshed. The Blood Orange Margarita is a no-nonsense cocktail with blood orange and citrus juice, all squeezed on the spot. Instead of using the traditionally pre-made spiced rums, Batch’s sweet and indulgent Root Beer Float is made with their own spiced rum and root beer, a unique treat few others could offer.

Batch Gastropub’s tap cocktail offerings feature rotating cocktails made with fresh ingredients. They are carefully measured and made with natural juices and top-shelf liquors. They are freshly made every week, to avoid using unnatural additives, and stored in airtight metal kegs. The tap cocktails make it easy to indulge in a delicious drink while patting yourself on the back for enjoying yourself and being health-conscious at the same time. Because of their innovative approach to dining and drinking, Batch has positioned itself as the place to try in Brickell’s heavily competitive restaurant scene.
