Nobu is a brand that needs no introduction, so we’ll get right to it: Eden Roc’s Nobu Restaurant is now offering a delectable breakfast menu to satisfy the stomachs of hotel guests and outside diners.
The breakfast menu, curated by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa himself, is extensive and offers options for just about any palate. Whether you want something on the savory side or feel like appeasing your sweet tooth, there’s a breakfast item — or two or three — for you. In the New Classics section of the menu, expect to find bites like the Cuatro Leches French Toast made with challah brioche, three milk custard, caramelized pineapple and arequipa. There’s also the Arepa Benedict, comprised of fresh corn arepas, queso blanco, proscuitto, poached eggs, sofrito hollandaise, roasted tomato and breakfast potatoes. We can already see you drooling.
If you head on over to the Nobu Experience side of the offerings, there’s some tasty twists to your traditional brunch fare like Nobu’s Green Tea Chicken and Waffles with crispy panko chicken, pecan miso butter, tosazu maple and kojuchang hot sauce. Egg lovers rejoice: There’s a wealth of food for you, too. Our pick: The ‘Bu Fried Egg Sandwich with fried farm fresh eggs, bacon, arugula, havarti, lemon aioli, country wheat toast and breakfast potatoes. It’s a monster as you can tell from the photo. That’s the great thing about breakfast at Nobu: the portions are sizable.
Also, don’t leave without trying one of the juices. You’ll get a complimentary tasting of one to start your meal, and we suggest you get a full glass. On the morning we visited, the tasting was a cold-pressed Watermelon Kiss (guess what was in it), and it was super fresh and delicious.
We enjoyed Chef Nobu’s take on American breakfast fare and think guests are in for a treat with this curated morning menu. If you find yourself staying at the hotel or just exploring the area, it’s worth a look — and a bite.
