Bocce’s Sips With Sergio: A Taste of Italy in Miami

You don’t need to drop money on a plane ticket for a taste of Italy. For $30, Bocce Ristorante’s Beverage Manager Sergio Russo and Executive Chef Nunzio Fuschillo are bringing Italian flavors to you with the restaurant’s new Sips With Sergio series.

Taking place every other Saturday through the end of June, Sips with Sergio guides guests through a curated wine tasting, educating them on regions, production and flavor profiles. All the while, Chef Nunzio prepares small bites to pair with each of the five wines.

On April 23, the series kicked off by introducing attendees to wines from Piedmont, Tuscany, Campania and other notable wine regions of Italy. Here’s a rundown of the wines tasted during the inaugural event:

  1. Prosecco Doc Treviso Il Fresco
  2. Svelato Falanghina Sannio DOC
  3. Le Orme Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG
  4. Cataldi Madonna Malandrino Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC
  5. Astorre Noti Brunello Di Montalcino DOCG

The next Sips with Sergio takes place this Saturday, May 7, at 6 p.m. Call 786.245.6211 or email for reservations.
