Pubbelly Burger Week Pays a Visit to Downtown Miami

Last summer, we had a chance to take part in Pubbelly’s popular PB Burger series with fellow food writers and influencers. Each of us worked with Pubbelly’s Jose Mendin to create a custom burger that would sit on the menu alongside the restaurant’s signature items.

If you missed out on the series last time, you’re in luck: It’s Pubbelly Burger Week at Downtown Miami’s Pubbelly Station. An extension of the two-month summer series, Pubbelly Burger Week features 10 different burgers for the taking. This time, though, Chef Mendin worked with Chefs Guillermo Concha and Craig Wolsk on the burgers — and they’re only here for one week.

Each burger will run you $10. This price doesn’t include fries or any sides, but that’s okay because these things are monsters. The burgers are available for lunch Monday-Friday. Can’t make it? You can also enjoy them Friday and Saturday during late-night service. After Saturday, that’s it.

Below, you’ll find the menu. Try not to drool:

Langford Burger
Truffle mushroom ragu, caramelized onion, gruyere cheese

Veggie Burger
Quinoa falafel patty, house guacamole, shredded cabbage, tartar sauce, Swiss cheese

Patty Melt
Double grilled cheese bun, house blend patty, vidalia onion jam, warm American cheese mousse

Crispy Juicy Lucy
Panko breaded cheddar cheese stuffed patty, lettuce, onion and tomato

El Fundido
House blend patty, house guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, mole BBQ sauce, Oaxaca cheese

BBQ Deli
House smoked brisket pastrami patty, 1000 Island BBQ sauce, Swiss cheese, purple sauerkraut

The John Wayne
House smoked BBQ sauce, beer battered onion rings, cheddar cheese, coleslaw

Turkey Burger
Turkey meat loaf patty, crispy bacon, spicy mayo, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion

Mr. Taleggio
Taleggio stuffed house blend patty, braised short rib, haystack onion rings

The Frenchy
Beer braised onions, Emmenthaler cheese, foie gras butter

Of the four burgers we ordered, the Mr. Taleggio was our favorite in terms of flavor. It strikes a nice balance between savory and sweet, and taleggio cheese on anything is enough to win over our stomachs. The John Wayne, though … now that’s a presentation. No matter how you spend your $10, expect a mouthful of awesomeness. Just make sure to hurry in: Saturday is the last day, and there’s no telling when the burgers will be back.

Pubbelly Station is located at 121 SE 1st St inside the Langford Hotel in Downtown Miami. For hours of operation and other information, visit their official website or call 305-420-2205.
