National Burger Month has arrived! To celebrate, restaurants throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties are serving up some fun specials. Check out our roundup below to see what your favorite spots are doing.

BLT Prime, located in the heart of Doral, is inviting burger enthusiasts to their chic dining room to celebrate Burger Month with dishes like Chef de Cuisine Dustin Ward’s BLT Duck Burger – Hudson Valley duck, miso aioli, and pickled Brussels sprouts, his entry in the recent 2017 Food Network & Cooking Channel’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s famed marquis event, the Heineken Light Burger Bash presented by Schweid & Sons hosted by Rachael Ray.
Other options include the Eagle Burger – burger blend, white cheddar, poached lobster and truffle buttermilk dressing; and the Black Angus Short Rib Burger – grilled 100% black angus burger, aged cheddar, crispy shallots, roasted tomatoes, bib lettuce and burger sauce. BLT Prime is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Burlock Coast Seafare & Spirits
Burlock Coast Seafare & Spirits, Fort Lauderdale’s chic seaside eatery, offers a $10 beer and Bootleg Burger promotion – ground brisket, pulled pork, chipotle aioli and jack cheese – every Monday night as part of their regular Happy Hour series. For National Burger Month the restaurant has partnered with Funky Buddha Brewery for an additional off-the-menu beer and burger offer available every Monday from 5pm – close throughout the month of May.
When diners check in to Facebook or like that week’s burger post on Instagram and show their server, they will receive two Smugglers Blonde Ale beers and an option to order the Contraband Burger – specifically created for Burger Month and is made with Smugglers Blonde Ale battered shallots, tomato jam, brie, truffle aioli, arugula on a brioche bun all for $10. The Smugglers Blonde Ale is Funky Buddha’s bodacious brew made with crisp pilsner malt and a touch of citrusy hops.
Meat Market Miami Beach
Meat Market Miami Beach, South Beach’s premier contemporary steakhouse and seafood restaurant, is celebrating National Burger Month with a specialty burger from Executive Chef/co-owner Sean Brasel. Whether you’re dining al fresco on Lincoln Road or inside the glamorous eatery, make sure to order the Wild Mushroom Burger, featuring a certified Angus chuck blend stuffed with wild mushroom, topped with Boursin cheese, grilled onions and Meat Market sauce served on brioche buns from Zak the Baker.
During the month, Meat Market will also offer a selection of rotating burger specials. All burgers are served with a side of signature Meat Market fries.
Oceans 234, Deerfield Beach’s premiere oceanfront restaurant is serving up some exclusive specials for National Burger Month. On offer will be Steve’s Ultimate Patty Melt (available May 1 – May 10) with a bacon-crusted patty, pepper jack cheese, smoky jalapeño aioli, avocado, arugula, red onions and pickled sweet and spicy peppers on toasted marble rye ($18); and Joe’s Mushroom with a View Burger (available May 11 – May 21) with wild mushrooms, Swiss cheese, crispy onion, arugula and lemon truffle aioli on a brioche bun ($18).
The top-selling burger, between those two, will be featured the rest of the month (May 22 – May 31). Oceans 234 is located at 234 North Ocean Drive in Deerfield Beach and is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30AM to 10PM; Friday and Saturday from 11:30AM to 2AM; and Sundays from 10AM to 10PM.
The annual, month-long celebration of all things burgers — better known as National Burger Month — is upon us. To celebrate, Pinch Kitchen has teamed up with some media and blogger friends to develop their own take on the Pinch Burger.
Each week throughout the month of May, Pinch will feature a different burger developed together with some of Miami’s top influencers and media. Come in and try your favorite’s burger or try them all and decide who will be crowned the Burger King or Queen (pun intended).
The lineup includes the Who’s Who of burgers as it kicks off with the Burger Beast burger on Tuesday, May 2nd.

The burgers will only be available during lunch and brunch Tuesday through Sunday, and prices will vary depending on the burger. The classic Pinch Burger will also be available.
Pizza & Burger
Ditch the backyard grill and celebrate National Burger Month this May at Pizza & Burger by Michael Mina. The laidback eatery, located in the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach, is teaming up with some very special guests to create signature burgers. Every week in May (May 1, 8, 15 and 22), a different luminary will create their very own specialty burger recipe and feature it throughout the week. 15% of the proceeds from the sale of the burger will benefit the charity of their choice.
Kicking off Burger Month is husband and wife team, Shannon and Ray Allen, owners and operators of the East Coast’s first USDA Organic Certified restaurant, Grown™, located in South Miami. Committed to promoting a healthy diet and lifestyle, Shannon and former two-time NBA champion, Ray, present Grown’s Signature Salmon Burger, – pan seared salmon topped with crisp romaine lettuce, sliced Roma tomatoes, juicy caramelized onions and Dijon aioli, served on a toasted Ezekiel bun. The burger, made with 100% organic ingredients, will be available Monday, May 1, 2017 to Sunday May 7, 2017, and proceeds will benefit the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF).
ROK:BRGR’s Triple Truffle Burger is made with Bone-Marrow, NY Strip and Ribeye blend patty, topped with Aged Truffle White Cheddar and an Exotic Mushroom blend. The burger is finished with a Truffle Mornay cream sauce, Black Truffles shaved table side and sits atop a locally made Brioche bun. Paired with hand-crafted truffle fries, the Triple Truffle Burger will be served at all ROK:BRGR locations for $40.
Tap 42 is celebrating National Burger Month with The Prohibition Burger, made with Tap 42’s special burger blend, applewood smoked bacon, “secret sauce,” Dijonnaise, lettuce, tomato, onion and topped with melted white cheddar. This Tap 42 classic burger is normally $14.50, but on Mondays you can get it 1/2 off with the purchase of a beverage.
National Burger Month is here! In light of the meaty month, Turnberry Isle restaurants, BOURBON Steak and CORSAIR kitchen + bar, are joining Michael Mina restaurants around the country to participate in the nationwide MINA Burger Month.
