Gin + Collins

Miami Beach’s newest gin lounge Gin + Collins will be celebrating the holiday weekend with a Memorial Day Rooftop Pool Party on Monday (5/29) from 2pm-6pm featuring vibes by DJ Sounds Insane, a pool full of giant floaties and creative cocktails from Head Bartender Nikos Mantzaridis.

Guests can cool off with perfect bikini-season drinks like the low calorie The Detox pairing Hendricks Gin with Fever-Tree Naturally Light Indian Tonic, mastiha liqueur, fennel syrup and cucumbers; the Prescribed Gin and Tonic combining Florida-made Prescribed Spirits Gin, Elderflower tonic, St. Germain and ginger syrup; and the Green Gremlin mixing Botanist Gin, Fever-Tree Tonic, Green Chartreuse, rosemary syrup and basil. Glass and Vine

Glass and Vine, star chef Giorgio Rapicavoli’s wildly popular concept in the Grove, is offering Memorial Day Brunch from 10AM-3:30PM. Rapicavoli, who has earned rave reviews for his brunch bona fides, serving up fresh, modern Floridian bites perfect for enjoying on the long weekend. Brunch dishes – which are intended to be shared – include Sweet Potato Tater Tots ($7) – crispy tots with buttermilk ‘ranch’ dressing; Semolina Pancakes ($12) – fluffy and piled high with buttermilk, lemon zest, vanilla-maple syrup and whipped butter; and Applewood Smoked Bacon ($8) – crispy strips with a smoked guava and coffee salt sauce for dipping.

Additional delights feature Pan Con Tomate ($10) – a quintessential brunch item with raw tomato, jamon serrano and dehydrated olives on local bread; and Wood Oven Baked Eggs ($12) – confit garlic cream, black pepper, Grana Padano, grilled bread, cauliflower and nutmeg, with the option to add cured meat ($3) or truffle sauce ($4). Of course, no brunch would be complete without beverage options. To wash down bites, the weekend menu features Bloody Mary ($10), Mimosas ($10/$35) and Sangria ($10/$35) with Chablis, Sauvignon Blanc, passion fruit vodka, fresh fruit.

Hosteria Romana

Hosteria Romana, a cozy restaurant with traditional Italian music, rustic decoration, exquisite plates of Roman Jewish cuisine and buoyant staff, will be serving free appetizers on Memorial Day. Matador Terrace at The Miami Beach EDITION

​Latin cuisine is influenced by Spanish, Caribbean and South American flavors. The menu offers savory brunch items, such as the Matador Breakfast with Huevos Rancheros made of farm egg, fresh corn tortilla and fire roasted salsa. For a sweet variation, guests may enjoy coconut pancakes with grapefruit and lavender maple syrup.

Cocktails including Bloody Marys, traditional Bellinis, Raspberry Lychee Bellinis, Mimosas, and red apple Sangria are available for $45 as bottomless beverages. Special Sangria concoctions are also offered, like the rosé wine with rum, strawberries and lime or the red apple tempranillo with Laird’s Applejack Brandy lemon, apple and hibiscus. Champagne is also available, including Veuve Clicquot and Taittinger.


David Grutman’s new community nomz hotspot, is extending their weekend brunch menu exclusively for Memorial Day. Take a seat in the trendy coffee shop and choose from OTL’s breakfast classics or enjoy a delicious brunch selection including the OTL mollete, breakfast burrito and french toast. Pair it with your beverage of choice – you’re in luck, The hip new spot now serves wine by the glass or bottle and two beers including a Wynwood Pale Ale and the OTL Lager that was developed exclusively for OTL by the Wynwood Brewery. For those looking to make the most of the vibrant destination, following brunch, treat yourself to a day of shopping in Miami’s booming Design District.

Pizzeria Numero 28

Phuc Yea!

Join Savor Tonight and fellow foodies on Sun., May 28 for a boozy brunch at Phuc Yea! Taking place on Memorial Day weekend, guests will enjoy a Vietnamese-inspired, Cajun-influenced brunch menu created by Chef Cesar Zapata. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a specialty cocktail, and then, sit down to enjoy a family-style brunch. Bottomless mimosas will also be served. Cost is $55, if purchased by Friday, May 26 or $60, thereafter, if space is available. This includes a welcome cocktail, bottomless mimosas, a 3-course brunch menu, tax and gratuity. River Yacht Club

Escape the madness of South Beach this Memorial Day Weekend at the oasis on the Miami River that is River Yacht Club (RYC). Not typically open on Mondays, it will celebrate the arrival of summer in style with a two-day, backyard-style barbeque.

The larger than life “Rock My Boat” Sunday brunch party will be packed with entertainment and amazing food and drink specials. In addition to their seafood-centric a la carte and brunch menus, a grilling station will be positioned outside, serving up delicious items such as fresh Maine lobster, Korean-style BBQ short ribs, Florida Yellowtail snapper, ginger barbeque half chicken and colossal tiger shrimp. For this weekend only, a variety of tacos including beef, chicken and octopus will be available at a taco stand.

What better way to welcome summer than a bottle of Moet Chandon special for just $80? Guests can expect drink specials all weekend long including the Iron Man, with Don Julio, organic lemonade, cucumber and charred rosemary; and the ‘Merica, with Ketel One, watermelon pulp, pressed lime and Thai basil. An adult lemonade and ‘make your own crab apple’ stand is sure to be a favorite among guests.

The epic backyard event will feature entertainment provided by DJ Jessica Who on Sunday and DJ Aloona and Yez on Monday, along with stilt walkers and surprise guests.

To commemorate Memorial Day, RYC will donate 10% of food and beverage sales to the Wounded Warriors Project, a nonprofit organization who honor and empower wounded warriors by providing free programs, support, and services to injured veterans, their families, and caregivers.

Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar

Brunch is no longer exclusively for the weekends. On Monday, May 29th Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar will be serving up their delectable weekend brunch in celebration of Memorial Day including their bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. The Benedict Aztec ($13) poached eggs in masa sopes, pork cochinitas, salsa rojo, spinach, chipotle crema, and mexican potatoes is the perfect addition for this holiday boozy brunch.

Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend at Celebrity Chef Amaris Jones’ brunch pop-up at Spasso in Coconut Grove on Sunday, May 28th. Indulge in her famous Chicken and Waffles, shrimp and grits, omelets, crispy catfish, jerk baby back ribs, vegan baked beans, Carolina BBQ rubbed chicken, Mexican corn on the cobb, down home mac n cheese and more while getting down to 90s hip hop. Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with plenty of patriotism at Tap 42 with a bottomless brunch. In honor of MDW, Tap 42 will be featuring their Red, White & Blue pancakes (their traditional White Chocolate Strawberry Pancakes with blueberries!) The Confidante Miami Beach – Poolside

The Confidante gets grilling this Memorial Day weekend with two poolside BBQs on May 27 & 28. Open to the public, the BBQ will feature a-la-carte options including Kansas City Ribs, Jumbo Hot Dog, A burger and more. Full menu with prices below:

Verde at PAMM

Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) kicks off its participation in Blue Star Museums with a MemorialDay BBQ. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy classic barbecue food by Verde and refreshments on the terrace, as well as a special appearance by Coast Guard Air Station Miami and live music. Visitors can explore the exhibitions inside the iconic museum or relax on the Bayside steps. Free admission to active duty military personnel, veterans, and family members.

Admission is $16 for adults; PAMM members free. Admission does not include food/drink. Members, please bring membership card for quick entry.
