Copper 29 is getting in on the tequila fun with their own specialty cocktail just for the day — Aegean’s Margarita ($10) made with 1.5oz Diamante tequila, 0.5oz Cynar artichoke liqueur, 1.5oz fresh watermelon juice, 0.5oz fresh cucumber puree, 0.75oz lemon juice, 0.5oz simple syrup and lemon-rosemary salt rim.

La Cueva

If Brickell is more your style, walk into the Miami’s one and only cave — La Cueva! La Cueva is usually not open on Mondays, but for this national holiday the cave will open to all guests at 6PM. Upon arrival, receive a welcome tequila drink on the house (or on the cave?) and enjoy 50% off tequila for all locals and industry people.

Lolo’s Surf Cantina

Switch things up for National Tequila Day with Lolo’s Surf Cantina’s Sour Coyote. Available for $14, the sour coyote features tequila reposado, lemon, passion fruit, chili and egg white. Sour Coyote not your thing? Lolo’s Surf Cantina will be offering tequila specials all day long.

Lolo’s Surf Cantina will also be celebrating National Tequila Day with Lolo’s Mezcaleria, a one-day only Tequila Convention from 10pm – 2am with various Tequila brands mixing up their own specialty cocktails for just $8 a piece. Fingers foods will be served to soften the hangover, ranging in price from $5-10.

Plomo Tequila & Taco Bar

Join Plomo Tequila & Taco Bar in Coral Gables as they celebrate their holy grail of liquors — tequila! On Monday, July 24th, Plomo will celebrate with their Agave Monday specials that include half off an all tequila and mezcal neat or on the rocks. To make the national holiday even more special, Plomo will be concocting an $8 cocktail just for this occasion called the Rancho La Gloria: 1.5 oz Cazadores Blanco, .75 oz pineapple, half a lime, 1/4 yellow bell pepper, 1 dash celery bitters and grasshoppers salt rim.

Rocco’s Tacos

Glasses up! For those seeking a modern twist on the classic Cuban-inspired mojito, Rocco’s Tacos Tequila Mojito is a must-try. With a large splash of Corazon Silver tequila and muddled lime, mint leaves and syrup bringing a depth of flavor, this fresh, tangy Tequila Mojito is a guaranteed crowd pleaser.

Tacology will be offering a Tequila flight (three tasting shots) all day for $18.

In addition, they will be offering a Casa Berries Cocktail ($12), and is made with Casa Noble Silver Tequila, Strawberries, Blueberries, Hibiscus Juice, Lime Juice and Agave Nectar.

National Tequila Day is Sunday, July 24th and Tap 42 is featuring their Blueberry Margarita and their Te-Kill-Ya Cocktail for $12 at all four locations.

The Blueberry Margarita is made with Barón Blanco Tequila, Wild Blueberry Preserves, Lime, Simple Syrup and finished with Half Sugared Rim.

Te-Kill-Ya is one of Tap 42’s Cocktails on Tap featuring Patron Roca, Patron Citronge, lime and spiced agave This cocktail pairs perfectly with Tap 42’s Bacon & Sweet Corn Guacamole made with Charred Corn, Cotija Cheese, Pink Onions and Fried Garlic.

Villa Azur

Villa Azur’s Michelin Star-experienced Executive Pastry Chef Sébastien Feneyrol took the #tequila challenge to create a dessert that won’t only leave you with a sugar high but also a hint of an agave buzz with his Omelette Norvegienne – a tequila infused biscuit topped with browned meringue.
