Uvaggio Wine Bar Hosts Euphoria Dinner

This Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Uvaggio in Coral Gables will be hosting a 7-course Euphoria dinner. Each dish of the multi-course affair is designed to create a euphoric feeling for diners. Some of the items that guests can expect are creamy zucchini soup, pumpkin-nutmeg fettuccine and pan-seared sea bream.

Katsuya Opens in Brickell

Leading global lifestyle hospitality company, sbe is proud to announce two innovative culinary and entertainment venues opened today at the highly anticipated SLS LUX Brickell Hotel & Residences, a brand new property designed by award-winning global design houses Yabu Pushelberg and Arquitectonica, and developed in partnership with The Related Group. Helmed by Chef Denevin Miranda, Executive Chef for the property, Katsuya at SLS LUX Brickell will deliver an original dining experience, marrying master Chef Katsuya Uechi’s fresh and innovative take on Japanese classics with an imaginative and thoughtful design by one of the most recognized design firms in the world, Yabu Pushelberg.

The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offer many of Katsuya’s signature favorites along with new items created especially for the location such as the Kani Crab Avocado Blue Crab, Avocado, Grapefruit Gastrique, Furikake Rice Crackers; Crawfish Shui Mai Smoked Corn Mousse, Bisque Air, Smoked Trout Roe, Andouille Riyu; A5 Fried Rice A5 Wagyu Beef, Garlic Chips, Chives; and Tea Smoked Duck Confit Leeks, Okinawa Potato Anna, Hoisin Sauce. Accommodating nearly 180 diners, the 6,537 sq ft expertly composed space features a private dining room for 10-12 diners that can also be divided into two separate rooms.

SLS LUX Brickell will also be home to S Bar, a sultry and glamorous concept that takes lounge life to new heights with its advanced mixology program. Situated next door to Katsuya, the 2,535 square foot space will seat 85, striking the perfect balance between cultured sophistication and raw elegance. The vibe will be casual and the style bohemian chic with an urban edge. Miami Spice Mash-Ups Are Back

In its 17th year, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB)’s Miami Spice Restaurant Program is teaming up with Chef Michael Beltran of Ariete, Chef Diego Oka of La Mar by Gaston Acurio and Chef Patrick Ochs of The Strand Bar & Grill for an unforgettable culinary experience. The one-night-only dining experience will take place on Thursday, June 28, at the gorgeous oceanfront restaurant, The Strand Bar & Grill. Priced at $75 per person (excluding tax, tip and additional beverage purchases) the dinner will include complimentary pours from Miami Spice sponsors Chandon California, Fiji Water, Terrazas de los Andes and Stella Artois.

New Summer Programming at Burlock Coast

Burlock Coast, Fort Lauderdale’s wildly popular oceanfront restaurant and bar, is jumping into summer with new Happy Hour, Marketplace offerings and the introduction of a live DJ at Sunday brunch. Every Monday – Friday, sea dogs and landlubbers alike have a plethora of options to indulge in. Quinto La Huella Turns 2

Quinto la Huella, EAST, Miami’s Uruguayan eatery, is celebrating their two year anniversary and are pulling out all the stops for the occasion. Chef Nano Crespo will be joined by renowned Argentinian chefs Deborah de Corral of Tigre Bar & Kitchen (opening soon in Miami) and Chef Pablo Massey of La Panaderia de Pablo in Buenos Aires on Friday, June 22 and Saturday, June 23 for a two-night only dinner event.

For the special dinner celebration, the restaurant will offer a special three course pre-fixe menu from 8 to 11pm featuring authentic South American cuisine specifically prepared for the event, priced at $89 per person. Lima Debuts Executive Lunch

Lima at Atton Brickell Miami, the Peruvian-inspired restaurant has expanded its culinary options to cater to health-conscious professionals! Great for guests looking for a scrumptious mid-day meal but conscious of the clock and their wallet, the executive lunch menu priced at $16, features a variety of appetizers and entrées flavored with Latin American flair.

The two-course menu, served from Monday through Friday, from noon to 4 p.m., offers Brickell’s lunch crowd fresh and light options that will change monthly. During the month of June, diners can expect dishes such as Cucumber Gazpacho Soup with Watermelon and Queso Fresco; Light Lemony Pappardelle with Salmon; and Honey Garlic Chicken Thigh in Soy Reduction.
