ADDiKT Opens at W Miami
W Miami in Downtown Brickell has opened the doors to its new restaurant, ADDiKT. Reimagined from the long standing 15th & Vine Kitchen and Bar, ADDiKT, is an immersive, multi-sensory experience, where proactive and playful meet, pushing the boundaries on traditional dishes.
ADDiKT is led by award-winning Executive Chef Christian Quiñones, a Puerto Rico native who brings over 15 years of experience to W Miami. Food fanatics can feast on cuisine inspired by the farthest points of Asia, South America and Europe all the while uncovering the lesser-known culinary delights of Miami and South Florida.
Offering breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, Miami locals and guests that are passionate about travel, food and an unexpected take on the tried-and true have found their new favorite spot with mouthwatering dishes featuring playful names like Benedict Conspiracy and Mexican Standoff.

Wynwood Welcomes Pink Pie
Celebrated South Florida-based pie shop, Pink Pie, announces the opening of its flagship location in Wynwood by Fall. Situated in the heart of Miami, near Wynwood Walls, the 900-square-foot pie and coffee shop will offer a New York-inspired minimalistic and modern space where visitors can enjoy handmade mini pies and a well-crafted coffee and beverage program.
Pink Pie will bring an all-new innovative approach to the world of pie with mini pies that are small in size but bold in flavor. The pies are three inches, made fresh daily, with sweet and savory options. The company innovates in flavors and uses modern techniques to enhance the pie experience. The kitchen is constantly creating new flavors, including vegan and gluten-free options.
The Wynwood shop will feature nine sweet options and three savory options at all times, with some flavors being part of the permanent menu and others will rotate according to season and special holidays. Permanent flavors include Oreo Nutella, Key Lime, and Vegan and Gluten Free Coconut Dulce de Leche. Limited-edition summer flavors include but are not limited to Passion Fruit, Chocolate Cream, Sweet Corn and Pistachio, while fall favorites are Pumpkin Cookie Butter, Maple Bacon, Pecan and Cranberry Mascarpone.
Savory pies include Bacon, Egg and Cheese, Five Onion and Duck Confit, among others. All pies are the same price regardless of flavor. Apart from mini pies, Pink Pie will feature “pies’cream sandwiches” (Choice of two pies with a scoop of ice cream, $6) and pie milkshakes ($6.50) with the available flavors of the day. The shop will also offer a full beverage program that complements the pies, including coffee, tea, craft beer and wine.
VEZA SUR Celebrates 1-Year Anniversary
El primer cumpleaños of VEZA SUR Brewing Co. is coming up on August 18, 2018 with a proper pachanga! Complete with live acts, a special birthday beer release, bites by Baja Bao, and lots of prizes and beer giveaways, Veza Sur wants to say THANK YOU for this epic first year and invites Miami to join the party at the brewery in Wynwood.
The one-year anniversary rumba starts at 2 p.m. and will go into the wee hours of the morning. There will be a variety of six different DJs/bands throughout the day, an exclusive birthday beer release appropriately named La Súper Pachanga, and a specialty menu provided by Baja Bao House.
Thirsty? Not to worry, VEZA SUR will ensure your cups are filled up throughout the day with complimentary Brazilian Chopp runs on the hour. The brewery urges attendees to use ride services such as Uber and Lyft, cabs or designated drivers.
Beaches Before Bridges at Nikki Beach
With the MacArthur Causeway under construction, and multiple lanes closed, it’s “Car-maggedon” out there! Nikki Beach’s commuter special allows you to wait out the traffic in style, with light bites and cocktails (for passengers or ride-share peeps, obviously).
Join Nikki Beach every day at 4 p.m. for $5 Mojitos, $7 glasses of house wine (red, white or rosé), $1.25 oysters, $7 conch fritters, $7 coconut shrimp, $10 flatbreads and complimentary parking. Spend the afternoon playing life-sized Jenga, Ping-Pong and other fun games.
Sunset Reggae Saturdays at Nautilus
Montego Bay vibes and bites are just what the doctors ordered as summer rolls along in the Magic City! Sunset Reggae Saturdays launches this weekend at Nautilus South Beach: Percussive reggae rhythms and DJ Ras provide the soundtrack as guests enjoy a platter selection of grilled jerk seasoned items and two glasses of rum punch for $29pp every Saturday at Nautilus South Beach from 5-9p.m. This promotion will run indefinitely.
