Brunch buffets are always fun, and the new Royal Brunch at Point Royal is no exception. From 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays, guests can enjoy a wide range of brunch favorites for just $45. That’s a steal, especially for a restaurant with such star power — Geoffrey Zakarian — behind it. As you’ll soon see, Point Royal just made Sundays a lot more fun.
So what exactly do you get for $45? A lot. The brunch buffet at Point Royal is expansive and features many classic dishes you know and love. There’s the raw bar with shrimp cocktail and oysters, and there’s the butcher’s table with an array of meats ready to be carved. What we enjoyed the most, though, were the specialty dishes like fried chicken, mac and cheese, and more. If you want to keep things casual, there’s cereal, granola and other simple bites, too — but that’s not what you came here for.
Another big draw: the Bloody Mary cart. When it stops by your table, get creative with toppings and sauces galore — whatever your liver is in the mood for. Not a fan? Don’t worry: Adult beverages like mimosas and other classics are available as well to liven up your day. Just keep in mind that the bottomless beverage option will cost an additional $30. The splurge is worth it, and even at $75 total, it’s one hell of a deal. And if you feel like bringing the family, the brunch only costs $19 for kids. At these prices, the more, the merrier.
