Area 31

Celebrate love this Valentine’s Day perched on the 16th floor of the beautiful Kimpton EPIC Hotel with romantic views of Miami. The Downtown seafood restaurant will offer lounge and terrace specials for those not interested in the Valentine’s Day celebrations. Looking to upgrade your rosé game?

From Wednesday, February 13 to Sunday, February 17, Area 31 will offer rosé Champagne and food specials in the restaurant’s lounge and on its terrace. “Rosé and Pâté” specials will include Krug Rosé half bottle and pâté for $250, and Veuve Clicquot Rosé half bottle and pâté for $150. No way, pâté? Bottle specials include Krug Rosé half bottle for $200. Looking for a more casual rosé experience, Area 31’s terrace and EPIC pool will serve frosés for $12. Ariete

For couples in search of a romantic evening, Chef Michael Beltran is preparing a four-course Valentine’s Day tasting menu complete with a complimentary glass of bubbly. From 6PM to 11PM, diners can indulge in a specially curated menu priced at $65 per person, excluding tax and gratuity.

Guests can enjoy Chef Beltran’s inventive American cuisine with Cuban influences in an idyllic, tree-lined Coconut Grove setting. Think dishes like Short Rib Croquetas, Smoked Pork Chop and his famed Candy Cap Mushroom Flan. The a la carte menu will be available as well. Ariete is located at 3540 Main Highway in Coconut Grove. Bird & Bone

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at The Confidante! Couples can enjoy a romantic evening on the terrace at Bird & Bone and indulge in a special prix-fixe menu. The menu features a welcome champagne cocktail followed by a four-course menu including Vegan Roasted Heirloom Strawberry, Crab & Uni Dumplings, 28 oz. Angus Porterhouse Steak and Tableside S’mores for dessert.

Couples will leave on a sweet note with special Exquisito Chocolate “Will You Accept This Rosé” bons! Those looking to celebrate with their gals can treat themselves during dinner service to a glass of rosé with Exquisito Chocolates for $15. A la carte offerings will also be available. Boulud Sud

Love may be in the air on February 14th, but the real question is what’s on the menu? Boulud Sud, created by acclaimed chef, Daniel Boulud, and run by executive chef Clark Bowen – offers a delectable taste of the Mediterranean, that will make planning the perfect Valentine’s date easy!

The restaurant will offer a Valentine’s Day tasting menu featuring Cauliflower Soup, Yellowfin Tuna Crudo, Agnolotti de Taleggio, Seared Dayboat Scallops and a variety of delectable desserts such as a Milk Chocolate Chesnut Bar and Grapefruit Givre. For guests looking to wine while they dine, the restaurant will offer the option for wine pairings throughout the meal, hand selected by in-house Sommelier Daniel Chaviano.

The restaurant’s picturesque background will serve as the perfect backdrop this Valentine’s Day while you and your sweetheart enjoy a romantic meal at Boulud Sud. Price is $85 per person and an additional $55 per person for wine pairings.

BOURBON STEAK

For those who want to take their Valentine’s evening experience to the next level, enjoy a special three-course menu created especially for lovers. Start off with options such as Maine Lobster Risotto, Ahi Tuna Sashimi, Oysters or American Wagyu Beef Tartare. Then move on to one of the acclaimed restaurant’s signature steaks such as Delmonio ribeye, filet mignon, or NY Strip. Or enjoy Scottish Salmon, Pan Seared Scallops or Miso Glazed Sea Bass, with a trio of classic sides including truffle mac and cheese, creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes.

During Valentine’s Day week, Bulla Gastrobar will feature a limited-edition Hibiscus Mojito! From February 11th through the 17th, $1 of each mojito sold will be donated to the American Heart Association and spreading the love to a special cause.

Byblos

Miami Beach’s highly celebrated Mediterranean hotspot, Byblos, is hosting a Valentine’s Day evening to remember, offering their most indulgent prix-fixe Valentine’s Day menu yet, at $85++ per person. The plentiful menu will allow guests to choose from a carefully curated selection of delectable mezzes, followed by a main course to be perfectly complemented by two of the restaurant’s signature sides.

If you are looking for a little less romance and a little more of a good time, brewery and restaurant Crazy Uncle Mike’s is the spot to go to this Valentine’s Day. Listen to live music by contemporary rock band Le Special, while sipping on one of the restaurant’s signature house-made beers, such as the Ignition Remix or the Coffee Oatmeal Porter, and eating bacon croquettes and pork belly tacos.

The three man power trio has made their mark on the music scene by melding a variety of genres and sounds to create a synthesized sound that is all their own. Diez y Seis

For those looking to upgrade their Valentine’s Day routine with an opulent dining experience, there’s no better place than at Chef Jose Icardi’s beloved Mexican eatery, Diez y Seis at Shore Club. The already much-admired restaurant will be offering a carefully curated 4-course prix-fixe menu for $55++ per person.

A few highlights from the abundant menu include CAVIAR GUACAMOLE: Pomegranate seeds, gold flakes, VUELVE LA PASIÓN: Aguachile negro, scallops, OYSTER GRATIN: Epazote, pecorino cheese, CRISPY STRIPED BASS: Garlic chips, Lime butter and so much more! ETARU (Hallandale Beach and Las Olas locations)

Celebrate love at ETARU this Valentine’s Day with a premium Chef’s Tasting Menu, offered at both of the restaurant’s South Florida locations.

Priced at $120 per person (excluding tax and gratuity), guests will be greeted with a signature Valentine’s Day cocktail, the Lipstick Rose (Oxley Gin, grapefruit, rose, lavender, topped with champagne), followed by five courses featuring ETARU’s most sought-after dishes such as the Black Kampachi Sashimi with yuzu truffle dressing, mizuna and pickled vegetables; Lamb Cutlets with Korean spices and cucumber; and American Wagyu Beef Rib Eye with eryngii mushrooms and wasabi ponzu sauce.

The meal will end on a sweet note with ETARU’s photo-worthy dessert platter, which will feature a specialty Valentine’s Day dessert. ETARU’s a la carte menu will also be available.

For lovebirds looking for a dinner and a movie type of experience, ETARU Hallandale will be screening The Notebook at their oceanside Beach Bar on Valentine’s Day as part of their monthly Cinema Club program. Jaya at The Setai

Celebrate with your beloved in one of South Florida’s most serene settings at Jaya at The Setai, including roses for the ladies upon arrival. Executive Chef Vijayudu Veena has prepared a multi-course tasting menu for Valentine’s Day that showcases the restaurant’s acclaimed pan-Asian menu.

Priced at $125 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity, the romantic repast begins with an aphrodisiacal Amuse Bouche of Tuna and Hamachi – Shaved Tuna and Hamachi, Sudachi Dashi, Blood Orange, Jalapeño Foam, Avocado, and Radishes. Then, guests can choose between Truffle Dumpling – Scallop Dumplings, Truffle Emulsion, Fresh Shaved Truffles and Chives or Short Rib Gyoza – Wagyu Beef, Foie Gras Foam, Chili Oil and Unagi Shoyu.

For the main course, indulge with Lamb Chops on Polenta, with Tomato Chutney, Crispy Okra and Carrot Coconut Poriyal or Steamed Seabass with Braised Root Vegetables, Coconut Broth and Chili Oil. Kuro

The award-winning Japanese restaurant inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be offering a variety of exclusive dishes for Valentine’s Day this year.

The specials, which will be available through the weekend, include “Chirashi Sushi” with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, toro, shrimp and tamago for two pieces each served with cucumber, micro flowers and umami soy gel ($32); Grill Octopus with spicy yuzu, seasonal vegetables and gremolata ($26); Kuro Seafood Tower including lobster, shrimp, oysters, king crab, uni, scallops with ponzu, warm yuzu butter and gochujang mignonette ($80); Pan Roasted Scallop with bacon, furikake and soy glaze ($30); Sanuki Wagyu from Kagawa Prefecture “Olive Beef” ($120); and a His and Hers Cake made with chocolate stout cake, peanut cream, dark chocolate bark and vanilla raspberry cake with sake lime gel ($13).

While the rest of the country is freezing, Miamians can enjoy the warm weather with their significant other and dine al-fresco. Offering a curated holiday menu (details below) and the city’s best sunset and bay views, Lido is the perfect place to spend “Not Your Standard Valentine’s Day.”

Miami Beach’s very own NYC-inspired trattoria, Macchialina will be opening its doors to all lovebirds this Valentine’s Day with a 4-course Chef’s tasting menu priced at $95 per person. The Italian hotspot will also be offering wine pairings specially curated by Managing Partner/Beverage Director Jacqueline Pirolo, one at $36 per person and for a more elevated experience, $65 per person; the higher priced pairing will include access to special bottles.

Chef Michael Pirolo’s handcrafted menu will feature an appetizer course including Alaskan King Crab Salad with avocado and uni vinaigrette, and Insalata di Manzo with roast beef, arugula and tonnato sauce; a pasta course featuring Malfatti a spinach and ricotta gnocchi with butter and sage and Spaghetti con Gamberi with shrimp, bottarga and velutata di Pomodoro; and for main courses, a choice of Short Ribs al Barolo with potato puree, Brussels sprouts and herb salad or Mediterranean Branzino with fragola, saffron and cashews. Toss the takeout boxes and experience a modern spin on Chinese food with influences from all over Asia at South Miami’s culinary oasis, No Name Chinese.  Just in time for Chinese New Year, Chef Pablo is preparing a feast that will sweep her off her feet. This Valentine’s Day only, Truluck’s will feature a specialty cocktail created specifically for lovers’ toasts – the aptly named TruLuv, made with a tantalizing blend of vodka, orgeat, strawberry rhubarb syrup and Aperol.

Guests can keep the flame burning on their romantic evening with decadent desserts such as Chocolate Malt Cake or Baked Alaska, made in-house daily using the freshest ingredients.
