Time flies: It’s been almost 10 years since Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill opened its doors in Midtown Miami. Since then, the restaurant has expanded to two other cities and shows no signs of slowing down. Despite this growth, Sugarcane hasn’t forgotten its roots. To celebrate the 305, the eatery has put together a limited-time ‘Made in Dade’ menu that features favorites from its early days plus some new additions. Don’t delay: You only have until April 15 to enjoy these delights.
The Made in Dade menu is made up of three sections: Kick Back, Eat Well and Stay Awhile. No matter what selections you choose, you can expect everything to be shareable; we suggest you come with a group so you can try it all. The first section highlights smaller snacks that whet the palate for what’s to come. Highlights include yummy Pork Belly Bao and Grilled Cauliflower Bagna Cauda, both of which will have you smacking your lips.
Under Eat Well, flavorful items like the Hamachi Crab Roll and Swordfish “Ajo Blanco” help the section live up to its name. There’s only one selection under Stay Awhile — Duck & Waffle — and we can see why. You’ll indeed want to nap and stay awhile after eating this hefty, delectable dish.
Fun fact: The restaurant is inviting guests to take their “How Miami Are You?” quiz. Fill it out and share your results on social media to win a free dinner for two. You can find more information — and the full Made in Dade menu — here.
