World Famous House of Mac Opens in Central Fare

After four years of phenomenal food truck success, die-hard celebrity fans, over 50K Instagram followers, and a free-standing restaurant in Overtown, the World-Famous House of Mac is opening a new “to-go” shop at Virgin MiamiCentral’s new food hub, Central Fare, further expanding community relations, providing job opportunities, expanding the business’ franchise and of course, providing food lovers the best Mac and Cheese and comfort food in Miami.

Known for their unique spin on traditional cuisine, “Chef Teach,” whips up succulent delights like jerk salmon pasta, fried chicken & French vanilla waffles, and his signature World Famous Mac & Cheese. He is partnering with former Carolina Panthers’ defensive end Charles Johnson and Virgin Trains for this new location in Central Fare.

World Famous House of Mac top picks include the World-Famous Five Cheese Truffle Mac, pizza mac, seafood mac, and the buttermilk fried chicken with waffles. With pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan options, everyone can find delicious dishes to devour.



Shake Shack Comes to Brickell

Shake Shack has opened the doors to its newest Miami location in Brickell! The Shack is located at 901 South Miami Ave, Suite 109 and will be part of the Mary Brickell Village, an urban oasis in the heart of downtown Miami.

Shake Shack is a critically acclaimed, modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and griddled flat-top dogs (no hormones or antibiotics – ever), fresh-made frozen custard, crispy crinkle cut fries and more. A fun and lively community gathering place with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned a cult-like following around the world.

In addition to the classics, the Mary Brickell Village Shack will be spinning up a unique selection of frozen custard concretes:

Rainbow Connection – Vanilla custard, strawberry purée, The Salty Donut glazed donut and rainbow sprinkles

Chocolate Caramel Crunchcrete – Chocolate custard, salted caramel sauce, chocolate toffee and chocolate sprinkles

Pie Oh My – Vanilla custard blended with pieces of Four & Twenty Blackbirds seasonal pie

Guests can wash their burgers down with local brews from Wynwood Brewing Co. plus Shake Shack’s exclusive Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister® Ale. Wine lovers can enjoy a glass of Shack RedTM and Shack WhiteTM wine from the Gotham Project.

As part of Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good®, The Mary Brickell Village Shack is donating 5% of sales from the Pie Oh My concrete throughout the life of the shack to Autism Speaks, a nonprofit dedicated to finding solutions for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.

The 2,890 square-foot Shack features a patio with ample seating for guests. In keeping with Shake Shack’s commitment to green architecture and eco-friendly construction, the Mary Brickell Village Shack’s tabletops are made by CounterEvolution using reclaimed bowling alley lanes; chairs are designed by Uhuru using sustainable materials; and booths will be crafted by Staach using lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.



New Monthly Wine Series at BLT Prime

BLT Prime Doral is partnering with honored vintners to host six interactive wine dinners that showcase the best in food and global wine in an intimate setting. Beginning this month, one winery per month will spotlight its offerings that pair perfectly with custom four course menus designed by BLT Prime’s Chef de Cuisine to complement the characteristics and flavors of each varietal.

Dinners will begin at 7:30PM in the Nicklaus Private Dining Room at BLT Prime Trump National Doral. Vineyard representatives from esteemed wine regions including Argentina, Tuscany, Sicily, California and Spain along with Chef de Cuisine Tim Elmore will provide tasting notes and take guests on a one-of-a-kind journey to explore the flavor profiles and components of each pairing.

The first wine dinner of the series will take place on Tuesday, July 9, with historic Napa Valley vineyard, Beaulieu. Guests can expect to sip varietals including BV Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot while savoring Local Cobia, Rabbit Agnolotti, Beef Short Rib Pot Pie and dessert cheese. Chef Collab Dinner at AD LIB

AD LIB’s own Norman Van Aken, Joe Mizzoni and Hedy Goldsmith will team up with Michael Beltran, Justin Flit and Devin Braddock of Ariete and the upcoming Navé to produce a one-night-only dining experience. The night begins with a champagne greet, passed canapés, and features 4-courses, including dessert.

Sunday Brunch at iLov305

Ocean Drive’s iLov305 hosts their ‘See You Next Sunday Brunch’ every week. Bring the crew out for brunch on the beach where there will be all-you-can-eat brunch specials, cocktails and music. The ‘All You Can Eat Brunch’ takes place from 12-4 p.m. beginning at $49 per person and features menu items such as Toasted Cuban Bread, Eggs Your Way, Ropa Vieja, and Warm Banana Bread.
