When we hear the name Faena, our minds immediately think of a place that’s way out of our price range. Fortunately for budget-conscious diners, Casa Faena — the namesake district’s boutique property — offers a financially friendly brunch for those seeking quality food in one of Miami’s hottest areas. It’s Faena without the Faena prices.
We don’t typically wake up early to go out and eat. As much as we love food, we love sleep even more. In the past few weeks, though, we’ve discovered something that’s worth losing sleep over: breakfast at Lolo’s Surf Cantina. The South of Fifth Baja-inspired Mexican restaurant recently debuted early morning service, and there’s enough delicious food on the menu to fuel you for days.
When it was first announced that Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth of Top Chef were opening a new restaurant inside the old PB Steak space, we started counting the days until its arrival. Now that it’s officially open for business, we’re happy to report that Stiltsville Fish Bar was well worth the wait.
Scarpetta by Scott Conant, the award-winning seaside Italian eatery located at the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach, has an array of new and exciting offerings just in time for the Fall and Holiday season.
The famed restaurant is not only introducing a pasta making series and offering new seasonal menu items but is excited to announce that Sorso at Scarpetta is now permanent. The infusion bar located in the bar/lounge of Scarpetta launched as a pop-up this past winter and quickly became a hit amongst locals and visitors alike.
Here’s a closer look at the new menu items.
“Whoa.” That was our reaction after finishing our meal at BLT Steak, the South Beach steakhouse that has a new lease on life inside Iberostar Berkeley Hotel. Back in early 2016, the restaurant closed up shop on Ocean Drive and bid its time to make a triumphant return. If our recent dinner was any indication, BLT Steak 2.0 has succeeded.
