With over a dozen locations and many more in the works, STK is doing something right. The steakhouse recently double downed in Miami, opening a second location in Downtown. If you’ve been to the South Beach outpost, you already know what to expect: quality American fare and a fun vibe.
If there’s one thing we love about Mediterranean food (besides its vibrant flavors), it’s that it’s ideal for sharing. We’ve had some of our best conversations with close friends while scarfing down mezzes, flatbreads, rice and other signature cuisine. The fare just inspires conversation and camaraderie, and Cleo takes it to the next level with not just good food but a homey ambiance to boot.
When we heard that Apeiro was opening in Midtown Miami, we were ecstatic. We had heard amazing things about the one in Delray Beach, and we were very much looking forward to trying out their progressive Mediterranean cuisine closer to home. The time finally came for Apeiro to open, and our first visit was… meh.
The service was off, the food was off and the experience was nothing like the awesomeness we had read in the Yelp reviews of the Delray outpost. We swore we’d never go back.
Well, that boycott was short lived. A media invitation showed up in our inbox, and we decided to give the place another chance. Big changes occurred since our visit last year — including a new chef — and we’re happy to report we’re on great terms with Apeiro Midtown Miami 2.0.
Since we first stopped by Quality Meats last year for drinks and desserts on a random weeknight, we’ve been in love with the steakhouse. So whenever we get the chance to try Chef Patrick Rebholz’s cuisine, we jump at the opportunity. The new seasonal menu was no exception. Read more
