When it comes to brunch, there are several things that separate great spots from mediocre ones. We love big menus, stiff drinks and great views. At Stephen Starr’s Steak 954 inside W Fort Lauderdale, the weekend brunch has all of that — and more. If it’s a fantastic meal you want, it’s a fantastic meal you’ll get.
Brunch is one of our favorite meals for two reasons: 1) It’s a sign of the weekend and 2) It’s delicious. At Le Zoo, the Stephen Starr restaurant inside Bal Harbour Shops, that second reason is especially true. The French brasserie injects the mid-day meal with Parisian flair and European flavors that will have you wishing the weekend didn’t have to end.
We’re partnering with Mercedes–Benz to share our version of Miami. We’re always being asked about our favorite restaurants in town, and it’s about time we create a new list. Below, you’ll find five of our current favorites.
If you have just one day in Miami, make an effort to visit these spots. Your taste buds will be grateful. Read more
Stephen Starr and his projects are no strangers to South Florida — or to us. The Continental, Le Zoo and Steak 954 are all places we love, so naturally we were excited to hear about New York’s Upland opening up on Miami Beach. Helmed by Chef Justin Smillie, the restaurant serves up California-inspired cuisine that’s taken South of Fifth and the city by storm. Stop by for brunch, and you’ll see exactly what all the fuss is about.
Why does brunch have to be limited to the weekend? Bakehouse Brasserie, one of South of Fifth’s newest additions, is turning our favorite Sunday activity into a daily affair. Want brunch on a Tuesday? Craving brunch on a Thursday? This Parisian café has you covered.
