Barley Gets a New Menu

It’s rare that we head down south from our Flagami abode. Going to places like Dadeland is a trek, and it really has to be worth our while for us to make the trip. However, all you have to say is “Barley” and we’re there. The American brasserie recently debuted several new menu items, and we had a chance to try quite a few. If you need a compelling reason to visit Dadeland, Chef Jorgie Ramos is giving you plenty.

The Social Club at Surfcomber Gets a New Chef

The last time we wrote about The Social Club, we couldn’t sing its praises enough. The Southern restaurant inside the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel served up hearty classics that made us feel right at home. Since then, there’s been a big change in the kitchen: Chef Jeffrey Williams is now leading the charge.

As the new executive chef of The Social Club, Chef Williams has added his personal touch to many of the dishes while ensuring that guests continue to enjoy the same quality they know and love.
