“Bar Spanglish now serves weekend brunch.” Those were all the words we needed to hear to book it to the Wynwood restaurant. The cool craft cocktail bar and kitchen has now expanded its offerings to offer weekend warriors a chance to recharge after a night out or continue dehydrating responsibly.
In Wynwood, restaurants are a dime a dozen. You can’t walk a block without running into some sort of eatery or cafe. But among the many concepts in the neighborhood, there’s something that’s long been missing: a sports bar. And not just any sports bar — a damn good one.
On November 10, 2010, three cousins — Nedal Ahmad, Otto Othman and Nizar Ahmad — opened Pincho Factory at 9860 SW 40th Street with only $6.27 to their names. The local fast-casual concept proved successful, and the trio went on to open a second store at Coral Gables in 2010 as well as an outpost inside American Airlines Arena just this year. With another location opening soon in Hialeah and other franchise projects in the works, there’s no stopping these guys.
