There’s no shortage of Italian restaurants in Miami. You can find a bunch in just about every neighborhood. But here’s the thing: They’re not all good. Sette Osteria is good — heck, it’s great. At first glance, the menu might seem like the usual stuff you can find anywhere else, but Sette Osteria does them all so well. By the end of our meal, we were beyond satisfied. And you will be, too.
If you haven’t noticed, we go out to eat a lot. It’s sometimes hard to keep track of the best spots we’ve visited each month (and week and day). That’s why we’ve decided to put together a monthly list of our top picks. You can expect restaurants both young and old on this list — we’re always discovering new spots on our foodie adventures.
Here are our top picks for October 2018.
Nothing can keep us from good pasta — not even the recent construction on the MacArthur Causeway. We braved the hellish beach traffic in search of delectable Italian cuisine, and we found it at Fratelli La Bufala.
Italian restaurants may be a dime a dozen in Miami, but there aren’t many that can actually stand the test of time (or our palates). There’s a reason this place has been around since 2005.
They say patience is a virtue. We’ve certainly had to show a lot of patience when waiting (and waiting) for Malibu Farm at Eden Roc to open. For years, we’ve been eagerly anticipating the day that this super-fresh farm-to-table restaurant would finally make its debut. It finally has — and it was worth the wait.
It’s been a long time coming, but La Centrale is finally open inside Brickell City Centre. We’ve been eagerly awaiting the three-floor Italian food hall, which was slated to open late last year but Miami ruins everything. Now that it’s (almost) fully operational, we got to peek inside the venue’s first floor and eat our weight in carbs. Was it worth the wait? Yes x1000.
