To think that it’s been over a month since South Beach Wine & Food Festival came and went — time flies. Each year, the festival brings together some of the best chefs in the country (and world) for a food-filled week in the sun, and this year was no different. Here’s a look back at some of this year’s fun events.
The South Beach Wine and Food Festival has come and gone, but we’re still in recovery mode. After spending four days straight eating, drinking and walking from event to event, our stomachs and our feet are taking a well-deserved break.
Now that we’ve had a chance to edit some photos and nurse any hangovers, we wanted to share our SOBEWFF 2018 experience. From Italian Bites to the Grand Tasting Village, there was a ton of food and libations to be had. And even though we were exhausted by the end of it, we can’t wait to do it all over again next year.
The South Beach Wine & Food Festival has come and gone, but we’re still recovering from our gluttonous week. The festival, which kicked off last Wednesday, celebrated its sweet sixteen with memorable events in both Miami and Fort Lauderdale. This was our second time attending the festival, and the best way we can describe it is “Christmas in February.”
Seriously: There’s so much food, so many drinks and so many celebrities that you can’t help but feel like a kid in a candy shop. Below, you’ll find quick recaps about four different events we attended during the week.
Widely recognized as one of America’s favorite epicurean celebrations, the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF®) returns to EAT. DRINK. EDUCATE. February 22 – 26, 2017.
Benefiting the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University, tickets are on sale now for more than 90 events. The line-up for the 16th annual Festival includes an array of unique dinner experiences, signature tastings, late-night parties, seminars, the return of the Taste Fort Lauderdale Series, and more, taking place at locations throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Christmas is around the corner, but it’s not too late to pick up some presents for your loved ones. Below, we’ve rounded up a few of our favorite food and non-food gifts to help you spread some holiday cheer. Next week, be on the lookout for our other holiday roundup: Christmas events.
