Last Wednesday, The Dutch at W South Beach kicked off its annual BBQ series. The event, which is celebrating its fifth year, gives guests the chance to enjoy mouthwatering BBQ cooked up by Chef de Cuisine Adonay Tafur and notable local guest chefs.
If there’s one thing we love about Mediterranean food (besides its vibrant flavors), it’s that it’s ideal for sharing. We’ve had some of our best conversations with close friends while scarfing down mezzes, flatbreads, rice and other signature cuisine. The fare just inspires conversation and camaraderie, and Cleo takes it to the next level with not just good food but a homey ambiance to boot.
The Dutch and Miami Food Pug go way back. For the past two years, we’ve kicked off Miami Spice season at the American restaurant and stopped by the bar for drinks before hitting the beach (and after). But despite our multiple visits, we’ve never actually ordered off the regular menu. At the start of last month, we put together a guide of the best Miami Spice restaurants this year. With over 190 restaurants participating in the promotion, one or two were bound to slip under our radar. Cibo Wine Bar in South Beach was one of them.
Quality Meats has been on our to-do list for a while. We had been there for drinks and dessert but never actually for a full meal. So when Miami Spice came around, we knew it was the perfect time to go. After a generous chef’s tasting of their Spice offerings, we can safely say Quality Meats lives up to its name (and then some).
