We’re just one month into the new year, and we already have a serious contender for Favorite Meal of 2018: The Alley at The Betsy Hotel. It’s been a while since we’ve had an entire meal that’s impressed us so much, but this cozy Italian restaurant knocked it out of the park. From the moment the starters hit the table to the last bite of dessert, we couldn’t stop smiling.
Local foodies have reason to rejoice: Chef Geoffrey Zakarian is back in South Florida. Last month, the celebrity chef opened Point Royal inside the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood. The coastal American restaurant is a modern take on a seaside restaurant, featuring a menu that emphasizes seafood but also includes savory bites like Chef Zakarian’s signature Ugly Burger. No matter what your protein preference, there’s something delicious waiting for you here.
Pasta makes any situation better — especially when the pasta is from Via Emilia 9. Stop by 1120 15th Street and try them for yourself.
