Trust is earned. There aren’t many places where we feel comfortable putting our full trust in the chef, but Azabu is one of them. The Asian restaurant’s omakase experience, which takes place at its private sushi bar, provides guests with an intimate meal they’ll be thinking about long after it’s done. That’s exactly what happened after our multi-course affair that tantalized all five senses.
Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood is home to some of our favorite restaurants, and now we can add another one to the list: Azabu Miami Beach. The New York-based Michelin-starred sushi restaurant has opened a new outpost inside Stanton South Beach, joining Lolo’s Surf Cantina in providing locals and visitors an assortment of delectable fare.
The beauty of the Coral Gables dining scene is its variety. If there’s a certain type of cuisine or food you’re in the mood for, odds are pretty good that you’ll find it somewhere within The City Beautiful. But there’s one type of food that’s severely lacking in the area: tacos. While there are Mexican restaurants and other eateries that serve these little bundles of joy, there isn’t a place where they’re the main focus.
Enter Plomo Tequila & Taco Bar. This new taco spot from the team behind Copper 29 and Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar has taken over the old 100 Montaditos location to fill the neighborhood’s big void — and it does so successfully.

At Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill inside The Plymouth Hotel, our excitement reached a new peak. The Asian eatery, which has sister locations in Los Angeles and New York, features both items along with an array of other mouthwatering goodies to quell your appetite.

The sprawling property is a quality dining destination — one that’s home to over a handful of fun restaurants. Want Italian? Craving a burger? In the mood for seafood? There’s everything here.
Monkitail, the resort’s latest addition, further cements the site’s status as a culinary powerhouse. The Japanese gastropub is the brainchild of Philadelphia-based chef and restaurateur Michael Schulson, who’s known for his Asian concepts like Double Knot and Sampan in the Northeast. With Monkitail, Schulson has another hit on his hands.
