Now Open: Always June

Kimpton Angler’s Hotel in South Beach announces the opening of its new rooftop bar, Always June. The new bar offers an intimate, lounge experience with a vibe that is both cool and convivial from day to night and provides guests with breathtaking panoramic views of South Beach, the Miami skyline and Biscayne Bay.

The new cocktail menu features a variety of classic and frozen cocktails such as pina coladas and the creative frozen espresso martini. For especially hot Miami days, guests can cool down on a selection of boozy popsicles including the Coco Melon (ciroc coconut, pineapple) and the Excelsior (ciroc red berry, cactus pear pomegranate. For groups looking to celebrate, Always June features a variety of shareable punches such as the Rise & Shine (summer citrus ciroc, lemon, bubbles) or the When Life Gives You Lemons (de leon blanco).

The new food menu features a selection of elevated pool bites yielding from both land and sea. For those looking to try local fare, fresh seafood dishes include Shrimp Ceviche (avocado, pineapple, mango) and Blue Crab Salad (arugula, tomato, toasted pepitas, miso honey tarragon vinaigrette). Other notable snacks include the Bodega Bagel Sandwich (fried egg*, ham, pepperjack), Pork Belly Tacos (onion, cilantro, lime, salsa verde), and the Peruvian Chicken Sandwich (grilled chicken, bacon, arugula, tomato aji amarillo, garlic aioli, french fries).

Level 6 Rooftop Launches New Brunch

Coconut Grove’s newest rooftop restaurant and lounge, Level 6, is excited to announce the launch of their brand-new a la carte weekend brunch, offered every Saturday & Sunday, from 10:30AM-3:00PM, amid unmatched views of Biscayne Bay and the shimmering Miami skyline. Carefully curated by INK Entertainment’s Corporate Chef Stuart Cameron, brunch-goers can expect an elevated Spanish-inspired menu that incorporates a unique take on American breakfast classics and vibrant, herbaceous cocktails.

Highlights include: Spanish French Toast made with brioche, maple syrup, cinnamon sugar, ricotta cheese, and strawberries, and Eggs Benedict made with two poached eggs, hollandaise, Manchego biscuit, and avocado, with choice of chorizo or smoked salmon. Guests can pair these bites with hand-crafted cocktails like the Forbidden Fruit Sangria made with white wine, sherry lychee juice, lavender, butterfly pea powder, prosecco, and fresh fruits.

 

Mardi Gras at The Wharf

Let the good times roll at The Wharf Miami’s Mardi Gras Riverside weekend celebration! The party kicks off on Friday, February 17 with a masquerade bash featuring $14 hurricanes all day in addition to The Wharf’s Friday happy hour with $2 select beer by the bottle and $3 wine by the glass from 4 to 7 p.m.

On Saturday, February 18, The Wharf is hosting Mardi Gras Madness with a classic second line band and a special king and queen contest in which guests can collect beads when they order drinks and the two with the most beads will be crowned king and queen of Mardi Gras at the end of the night. Plus, don’t miss out on The Wharf’s Saturday Rosé all Day special with $35 bottles of Côtes de Provence Rosé from noon to 4 p.m.

To wrap up this fun-filled weekend, on Sunday, February 19, guests can sip on delicious cocktails at The Wharf’s Bourbon Street brunch featuring a specialty sangria bar with $4 White, Red, Rosé and Watermelon Sangria by the glass and $75 Bottles of Perrier-Jouët Champagne from noon to 4 p.m., and $14 hurricanes or $14 mint juleps all day! Guests can enjoy live entertainment, contests/prizes and lots of instagrammable Mardi Gras photo ops all weekend long!
