“The HESS SELECT SOUTH BEACH SEAFOOD FESTIVAL celebrates the seafood experience of Miami and helps kick off Miami Beach’s premier Stone Crab season. Miami’s Newest Event, in it’s 2nd year, will feature food, drinks, and all day entertainment, will be hosted at 7th and Ocean Saturday October 25th, 2014, with events happening all week long starting on Wednesday evening.
An exclusive VIP kick off will begin at Joe’s Stone Crabs on Wednesday, October 22nd for major event sponsors and feature a Joe’s experience you won’t want to miss. Limited tickets are available for $500/pp. Thursday Night, October 23rd will feature the “Seafood Shuffle”, a Wine and Dine Around, for $50, which includes 1 complimentary glass of wine at each of the 5-7 restaurant Participants and $5 bite menus will be available for purchase.
Friday Night’s “Chef Showdown” @ Seafood & Sneakers Ball will feature a VIP Gala experience inside the GOYA CULINARY PAVILION, a 7,000 sq ft air-conditioned (floored) pavilion at 9th and Ocean on the festival grounds. Evening will include the “Chef Showdown” Restaurant competition to find out how makes the “BEST OF THE BEST” signature seafood dishes in South Florida. Each Showdown will feature head to head restaurants to be judged by a panel of food experts…our “Cutting Board”. In addition, all attendees will get a chance to sample each dish and vote for their favorite as we select the Chef Showdown Champion! The event will feature open bars, cocktail samplings, wine features, additional tastings, raw bar, chef demos, entertainment, auction items and more.”
