Southern food is bae. It’s hearty, personable and fun on its own, but The Social Club’s Blair Wilson is kicking it up a notch with his personal touch on the restaurant’s latest menu. This isn’t the time-tested American-inspired fare you’re used to — it’s so much better.
Let’s get right to it: The Wynwood Yard now is not the Wynwood Yard that opened late last year — it’s come a long way. Since opening in November, the outdoor space has undergone a massive face lift, turning into something so much more than an incubator for culinary concepts. Over the months, the venue has hosted everything from concerts to professional workshops and fitness classes — to name a few.
In March, The Wynwood Yard announced a bevy of additions and revisions, including new vendors and partnerships. Before our visit a few weeks back, the last time we were at the Yard was early December. We hardly recognized the place when we walked in this time around — and neither will you. We’re happy to see that the place has worked out its opening kinks and finally found its footing.
