The next time you want to restaurant hop with some friends around Wynwood, look into renting a party bike. Cycle Party is a pedal-powered good time for up to 15 people, each of whom can either pedal or lounge while enjoying many of the sights and bites that Wynwood has to offer.
Each bike comes with a trained driver aka “babysitter” who will show guests around the neighborhood. Depending on the type of tour, participants may stop at restaurants, bars, breweries or other fun venues during the excursion.
Our food tour consisted of four different stops: La Santa Taqueria/Tierra Besame (Mexican), GKB (Peruvian), Mr. Kream (ice cream) and The Dirty Rabbit (Bar). We pedaled to each stop with our expert navigator, popped in, ate and drank, and then continued on. What we liked — aside from the food — was that you’re kinda forced to make new friends. After all, you’re working toward a common goal: getting to the next stop.
Rather just hang with your own friends? You can rent out a private bike for your group no matter the social outing. Birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, mixers and other events fall under Cycle Party’s expertise. For more information on Cycle Party and their Miami tours, visit their website.
