Riverside Circus at Wharf Fort Lauderdale
Wharf Fort Lauderdale is hosting its annual Riverside Circus, which is in full effect through Sunday, January 16th! Live entertainment includes clowns, stilt walkers, jugglers, acrobats, magicians, dancers, mimes and more! Additionally, enjoy happy hour specials each day of the Riverside Circus: Thursday: happy hour from 4-7 p.m. with mules, mojitos and margaritas starting at $4 at 4 p.m. with prices going up $1 every hour; Friday: $1 Wharf lager + $3 wine by the glass from 4-7 p.m.; Saturday: $30 bottles of Whispering Angel Rosé from 12-4 PM; Sunday: $60 of select premium champagne from 12-4 p.m. Children are welcome before 6 p.m. and 21+ after 6 p.m.
New Weekend Brunch at Osteria Morini
Osteria Morini has debuted a refreshed brunch menu! The menu offers a variety of classic upscale brunch dishes with Northern Italian twists. Available on the breezy canal-front patio or the expansive dining room, menu highlights include the new Crudo Bar ($20-68) featuring Tonno (tuna) paired with a finger lime, tonnato and micro herbs as well as Oysters and Stone Crabs; Battilardo ($7-26), sliced meats and cheeses including the Parmigiano “Gelato”, and Antipasto ($14-19) like the Misticanza with Swank Farm seasonal greens.
Toasts ($15-21) include Sheep’s Milk Ricotta and Seasonal Jam as well as Smoked Salmon with American caviar, herbed creme fraîche onion and crispy capers. Entrées include the Omelette All’Italiana, frittata stuffed with mushrooms, spinach and truffle pecorino; Uova In Purgatorio, Italian-style shakshuka with Castelvetrano olives topped with parmigiano, and French Toast with cornflake-crusted challa bread, crème fraȋche seasonal compote and crispy bacon.
Diners can also enjoy Morini’s signature House-made Pastas ($27) like Rigatoni with wild mushroom ragù, rosemary, black truffle Moliterno and Torcia Nera with squid ink pasta, seppia and shrimp ragù, as well as the new Morini Smash Burger ($21) with aged Swiss, creamy truffle aioli, tomato jam and fried egg on house-made brioche.
The bottomless cocktail menu ($30/guest for 1.5 hours) features a choice of mimosas, peach/passionfruit bellinis, Bloody Mary’s/Maria’s, and Italian Garibaldi cocktails. Additional brunch cocktails for $15 include the Aperol Mimosa and Café Negroni with Borghetti espresso liqueur, Campari, Punt e Mes, and Appleton rum.
Chinese New Year at Phuc Yea
On Tuesday, February 1st, Phuc Yea will be celebrating the Year of the Tiger with an interactive “dine-around”, drinks, and more. Priced at $65 per person (excluding tax and service) with two seating options, 7PM-8PM and 8PM-9PM, the festive celebration will feature five stations scattered around the restaurant where guests can sample several PY signature dishes.
Guests are also encouraged to indulge in the 3-hour open bar featuring specialty cocktails made with Espolon Tequila, Montelobos Mezcal, Appleton Rum, Russell’s 10 Bourbon, Aperol and Campari for $55pp. The restaurant’s a la carte menu will not be served on 2/1/22. The night will also feature a traditional dragon dance (8:45PM), DJ, and some take-home surprises.
The Lazy Oyster Returns to 1-800-Lucky
Wynwood’s Asian Food Hall, 1-800-Lucky is starting the new year with some shucking awesome news. The 305 oyster pop-up, The Lazy Oyster returns to 1-800-Lucky this Saturday, January 15th from 1-6 PM. Additionally, visitors can enjoy their weekly party Dulce hosted by DJ Bonnie Beats and Negra Fabulosa (1-10 PM).
Oyster selections are TBA but guests can expect only the freshest quality (prices start at $2.50 per oyster). The Lazy Oyster will also serve up an exclusive Fried Oyster Bao Bun with kimchi slaw (2 per order). For the perfect pairing, sake buckets featuring 5 cans of Tozai “Night Swim” ($50) will be available from 1-6 PM.
Visitors can also sip on NEW cocktails like a Sake Colada made with Nigori sake, Velvet Falernum. Brugal 1888, matcha tea, coconut cream and pineapple ($13) or Happy Go Lucky 2.0 made with Dobel Diamante Tequila, yuzu, passionfruit, thai chili, agave and lime ($13).
