Paws Patio™ Food Fest Makes a Return

InterContinental Miami is giving canines and their devoted owners the chance to embark on a tail-wagging adventure with the return of its dog-friendly festival on Saturday, April 20. Back by popular demand, the third annual Paws Patio™ Food Fest will once again pop-up on the property’s idyllic Bayside Terrace, which will be transformed into a pet marketplace just for humans and their four-legged friends. Attendees can discover new products, meet vendors, bond with their pups and mingle with other dog lovers, all while overlooking stunning views of Biscayne Bay.

This year’s “Pawty,’ hosted by a special pup partner – ‘Exec Chef’ Pancake – will begin at 2PM and includes puppy playdates, treat samples and more paw-some surprises such as organic dog foods, sweet and savory snacks and treats, and swag from local businesses such as Moon Dog Barkery, Raw Instincts, Sis’Paw, Yum Pup, Miami Pets World, Lulu & Bellalicious Barkery and Pet Chefy.

The fun continues with a live DJ spinning beats, photo opps, a complimentary swag bag and commemorative photo, and free Puppuccinos from Starbucks. For the humans, specialty-themed cocktails and delectable bites will be available for purchase during the festival.

Each ticket will also include a fur-ever Passport of Treats, where attendees can use their whimsical guide to explore various vendors, get their passport punched and sample delectable bites along the way.

Attendance is free for humans and $20 per pup. Tickets are available through EventBrite and can be purchased – HERE. Proceeds from the event will benefit Noah’s Rescue, a local 501c3 non-profit dog rescue.

New Beverage Program at Loews Hotels

Loews Miami Beach Hotel and Loews Coral Gables Hotel proudly announce the debut of the new beverage program, Free Spirited by Loews. As one of the pioneering hotel brands to embrace the growing trend of mindful consumption, Free Spirited by Loews will provide elevated and bespoke bar programming at each South Florida hotel for those who choose to imbibe less, or not at all.

As part of Loews’ commitment to “welcoming you like family,” the renowned Loews Miami Beach and new Loews Coral Gables continue to create judgment-free environments designed to accommodate guests of all ages, abilities and lifestyles. With this program, each hotel will showcase their on-site mixology talent crafting impressive libations that focus on locally sourced ingredients and unique flavor combinations.

Beyond the bar, Free Spirited by Loews will seamlessly integrate into catering and event planning, offering a curated selection of non-alcoholic beverages that are as thoughtful and intricate as their alcoholic counterparts. Moreover, this program will be infused into tentpole, brand-wide programming throughout the year, including the brand’s annual Summerfest, further fulfilling the holistic approach to preference accommodation.

As an added touchpoint, both hotels have seamlessly integrated these specialty cocktails into standard cocktail menus, with each drink clearly marked by an icon denoting its low or no ABV content. This thoughtful approach ensures that individuals seeking alternatives to traditional alcoholic beverages have access to a wide range of options while providing complete transparency and clarity. By incorporating these distinctive indicators directly onto the menus, Loews Miami Beach and Loews Coral Gables ensure all beverages are crafted with the same attention and care.
