4/20 Tasting at Eating House

Coral Gables staple, Eating House, continues its 4/20 tradition with a high-cuisine dining experience you don’t want to miss. Since 2012, Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli has offered an immersive tasting at the restaurant for the legendary holiday, serving a multi-course stoner-inspired menu accompanied by themed movies and music.

The prix-fixe menu, served family-style to a minimum of two guests per table, features gourmet munchies priced at $84.20 per person.

To start, guests can indulge in stoner-inspired appetizers such as Maui Wowie made with yellowfin tuna poke, cucumber, chili crunch, yuzu aoili, chips and sesame, Blue Cheese OG made with crispy duck wings, carrot buffalo sauce, and blue cheese crème fraîche.

Specialty entrées include the Pineapple Express made with Heritage pork belly ‘al pastor’, pineapple miso and pineapple pico de Gallo, Acapulco Gold made with Mac con queso, sour cream, shredded lettuce and American wagyu beef, and Super Lemon Haze made with lemon pepper hot chicken, buttered brioche, and lemon-buttermilk ranch.

To finish on a sweet note, guests can treat themselves to Strawberry Cough, made with strawberry & cream tart, vanilla bean custard and preserved strawberry, and Girl Scout Cookies, made of mini pancakes, coconut condensed milk, chocolate, and toasted coconut. Guests can also enjoy $4.20 beer and shot specials throughout the day as well as complimentary green mimosas during brunch.

Prime Rib Day at Fox’s Lounge

Celebrate National Prime Rib Day (Saturday, April 27) at beloved South Miami institution, Fox’s Lounge. This Prime Rib Day, enjoy Fox’s world-famous prime rib with choice of two sides all weekend long for $41.95. Add a $40 bottle of cabernet for the perfect pairing. Specials will be available from April 25th to 28th, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Wine Tub Social at Stiltsville Fish Bar

Celebrate the start of the weekend at Stiltsville Fish Bar for its special collaboration dinner with Vinya Wine on Friday, April 26. From 4-7PM, chef power couple Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth will team up with wine pro Allegra Angelo for an evening of fresh coastal fare and rich wines.

Allegra will take over Stiltsville’s bathtub filling it up with reds, rosés, whites and more while Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth work up the perfect complements. Standout dishes include Hog Snapper Ceviche; Tuna Tartar on Shrimp Puffs; Surf n’ Turf Carpaccio and more. Book a ticket here.
