New Fall Offerings at Elastika

Elastika, the public facing restaurant located on the 1st floor of The Moore, is rolling out new fall prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus, and new hours! Now open 7 days a week and helmed by Executive Chef Joe Anthony, Elastika offers a global approach to modern American cuisine.

The prix-fixe menus, available every day of the week, feature a selection of thoughtfully curated dishes available for lunch (2 courses, $32; dessert, $8) and dinner ($70).

Highlights from the Lunch menu include, but are not limited to:

– Olive Oil Poached Red Snapper
– Herb Roasted Green Circle Chicken
– Pot De Creme

Grower Champagne Brunch at Aba Miami

Indulge in a sparkling afternoon at Aba’s exclusive Grower Champagne Brunch on Saturday, November 2 at 1:00 PM. This is not your average brunch—prepare to dive into a luxurious, three-course Mediterranean-inspired menu carefully curated by Chef CJ Jacobson, paired with exclusive grower champagne, all served in the lush, elegant surroundings of Aba.

Delight in dishes like Eggs Benedict on house-made brioche toast, topped with salmon gravlax and a vibrant sumac hollandaise, while sipping on three, 3 oz. pours of grower champagne. Aba’s sommelier, Adam Cass, will guide you through each glass, highlighting the unique nuances of every pairing.

Halloween at Red Rooster

This Halloween, Red Rooster Overtown by Marcus Samuelsson is brewing up an unforgettable celebration for all ages! Guests can expect specialty Halloween cocktails, festive trick-or-treat activations for kids, and a unique “haunted patio” experience. Admission to the Haunted Patio is free, featuring trick-or-treat buckets for everyone. Red Rooster also invites guests to stay for dinner, with delicious starters like Tuna Tiradito, M’s Cornbread, and Deviled Eggs, followed by mouthwatering main dishes including Overtown Fish Fry & Oxtail Fried Rice, Gochujang Salmon, and Fried Yardbird. Red Rooster Overtown is the perfect destination for friends and families to embrace the Halloween festivities! Reservations are recommended.

When We Gather Food & Wine Festival

Wade Cellars – the California-based wine producer co-founded by entrepreneur and NBA champion Dwyane Wade – has become known nationwide for its successful series of When We Gather soirees, which highlight celebrated BIPOC chefs and sommeliers across the country through intimate culinary and wine experiences paired with wines from Wade Cellars’ portfolio.

Now, as part of the series’ third year, Dwyane Wade and Wade Cellars are expanding the concept with the first-ever When We Gather Food & Wine Festival on Saturday, October 26, 2024 in celebration of Wade’s Miami HEAT statue unveiling on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

The inaugural walk-around festival, which will take place at The Urban in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood, will be a memorable celebration of food, wine and community showcasing Miami’s top BIPOC chefs and culinary talent. Frito-Lay®, part of the PepsiCo Foods portfolio, has signed on as the presenting partner for the festival and will be bringing flavorful bites and recipes featuring their iconic brands to the festivities.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now. Early bird tickets are priced at $99 until October 17th (while supplies last); tickets will be priced at $125 starting October 18th. The doors open at 1PM for attendees who can expect a unique and immersive culinary experience featuring delectable dishes, stellar wines and libations, dynamic brand activations, and more.

The festival lineup will feature top locally and nationally renowned culinary talent including Wade’s personal Chef Richard Ingraham; Akino West (Red Rooster Overtown); Chef Irie; Eileen Andrade (Amelia’s 1931 & Finka Table & Tap); Giorgio Rapicavoli (Luca Osteria, Eating House, Mayfair Grill); Andrew Gonzalez (Night Owl Cookies); Diego Ng and Alex Kuk (Temple Street Eatery); and Derrick “Chef Teach” Turton (World Famous House of Mac), among others.

Dwyane Wade’s When We Gather Food & Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 1PM – 4PM at The Urban located at 1000 NW 2nd Avenue in Overtown.
