Rum Bar Takeover at Biscayne Bay Brewing
Biscayne Bay Brewing is bringing the spirit of Rum Month to life with an exclusive Rum Bar Takeover hosted by acclaimed Miami mixologist and local @Chatchowtv content creator, Giovanny Gutierrez, this August 16th at 6:30 PM.
Sponsored by Havana Club and Bacardí Ocho, this one-night-only FREE event will transform the brewery’s taproom into a tropical rum haven. Guests will enjoy an evening of expert mixology as Gio serves up a selection of featured rum cocktails available for purchase, each crafted with precision and inspired by Caribbean flair. Summer Dinner Series at Uchi Miami
On Monday, August 11 at 6:30 p.m., Uchi Miami is teaming up with MIMI Chinese, the Michelin-recognized restaurant that recently made its U.S. debut in Miami Beach last winter. Uchi and MIMI’s Executive Chef Braden Chong have co-created a tasting menu inspired by the iconic late-night meals at NYC’s Wo Hop, reinterpreting iconic Chinese dishes through MIMI’s regional lens and Uchi’s elevated technique.
Some menu highlights include:
– Akami Tuna with ginger soy broth and Chinese leek
– Sticky Braised Beef Cheeks with grilled long beans and pepper puree
– Scallop Crudo Peaches with yuzu kosho and white ponzu
– Charcoal Grilled Lamb Chop Saddle with cumin, cilantro salad and sweet soy

Secret Menu at Giselle Miami
Giselle Miami is turning up the intrigue this summer with Her Favorites, a secret three-course prix-fixe menu that’s as exclusive as it is decadent. Available now through September, this off-menu dining experience is served only on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays and is priced at $60 per person—but only for those who know to ask for it.
Executive Chef Gustavo Zuluaga has curated a lineup of Giselle’s most coveted dishes. Guests can choose from first-course favorites like Szechuan Calamari with garlic and chili miso aioli, Wagyu Dumplings with umami soy, or Tuna Truffle Cones topped with 24k gold leaf.
Entrées include the stunning Crispy Whole Snapper with Peruvian salsa criolla, Peking Chicken with bao buns and hoisin, or a vegan Truffle Pomodoro Pasta.
To finish, desserts range from the ethereal Passion Pavlova to Giselle’s signature Pearls (a six leches sponge cake studded with gold and silver pearls) and a rich 24K Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar.
Wine Tasting at Beauty & The Butcher
