It’s every foodie’s favorite time of the year: the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. This week, thousands will converge on Miami Beach to enjoy a star-studded multi-day extravaganza. Throughout the festival, guests will have the chance to see their favorite culinary personalities up close and enjoy world-class cuisine.
This year, we’ll be covering two festival events for you: Amstel Light Burger Bash and the Goya Foods Grand Tasting Village. We invite you to join us in the festivities. Here’s a quick rundown of each one.
Amstel Light Burger Bash
The name says it all: Burger Bash is a night dedicated to one of our beloved foods. Presented by Schweid and Sons and hosted by Rachael Ray, the Friday night event will feature tasty offerings from top chefs, including local favorites Cesar Zapata of The Federal, Andrew Gilbert of The Seven Dials, George Patti of M.E.A.T., Nedal Ahmad of Pincho Factory and many others. All the while, attendees will enjoy a great beachside view from The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach as well as Amstel Light beer and Meiomi wines.
This year, the panel of judges consists of personalities Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka, Natalie Morales, George Motz and Marcus Samuelsson. Two awards will be given out at the end of the night: the Amstel Light People’s Choice Award and the Schweid & Sons Very Best Burger Award.
Tickets are officially sold out, but you can catch all the action on our social media accounts during the event.
Goya Foods Grand Tasting Village
Sample an array of creative bites and delicious libations at the famous Grand Tasting Village on 13th Street and Ocean Drive. Celebrating its 15th year, the weekend-long event features expansive MasterCard Grand Tasting Tents and KitchenAid Culinary Demo Stages, where guests can try cuisine from all areas of Miami and engage with renowned culinary talent. New this year is a trivia game hosted by the one-and-only Guy Fieri, who’ll be taking over one of the Culinary Demo slots.
If you attend this year, make sure to vote for your favorite restaurant. Your vote will help decide the winner of the Miami New Times “Best Bite on the Beach” Award. Tickets to the Grand Tasting Village are $225 per person. To purchase your tickets, click here.
