Red Sauce Sundays at Macchialina

Macchialina, South Beach’s treasured Italian hotspot, is rolling out Red Sauce Sundays starting October 13th. A favorite among in-the-know foodies who yearn for Mike Pirolo’s decadent Sunday feast. Priced at $45 per person, the meal starts with Gentile Gragnano Rigatoni, one of the oldest and best, family-owned pasta makers in Naples.

The pasta is laden with a rich, Sunday sauce, slowly cooked with Sausage, Braciole and Veal Cheek Meatballs….. served with Arugula Salad and Garlic Bread with Whipped Ricotta. This is the homestyle supper the Pirolo family grew up on, imaginatively recreated by with a nod to tradition and wink to Nonnina.
