This month is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and many of your favorite local businesses are supporting the cause. Below, you’ll find a list of promotions and events you can participate in.

1 Hotel South Beach
The famous 1 Hotel South Beach, known for its commitment to sustainability and bettering the community, is going all out for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Featuring a month-long cocktail promo as well as an awareness panel discussion with Haute Living, 1 Hotel has fully transformed from “green” to “pink”!
From 5:30pm to 8pm on October 18, join Haute Living and 1 Hotel South Beach for an informative and interactive panel discussion about Breast Cancer. Tickets are $30 which includes entry to panel discussion, (1) glass of Rosé, Breast Cancer Screening with Pink Luminous device, and access to 1 Hotel South Beach Rooftop. Click here for tickets.
It’s that time of year to Drink Pink! This year, 1 Hotel South Beach is partnering with the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Throughout the month of October, when purchasing the Rosy Cheeks cocktail ($12) at DRIFT, the hotel lobby bar, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation.
Bodega Taqueria y Tequila
Chip, chip hooray! Bodega is turning their tortilla chips pink all month long in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Menin Hospitality will donate a portion of the proceeds from the chip sales to the Miami Dolphin’s Cancer Challenge benefitting the Sylvester Cancer Center.
In addition to the pink chips, Bodega is also featuring the Rosa Picante, a specialty pink cocktail for $8 available daily from 6 – 10 PM. A portion of the proceeds from the cocktail sales will also go toward the Cancer Challenge.
Bulla Gastrobar
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Bulla Gastrobar is committed to bringing awareness and advocating for a cure throughout the month and beyond. Bulla Gastrobar is proud to serve a Rosé Sangria throughout the month of October and donate $1 per cocktail to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. In addition, all staff members will wear a pink ribbon throughout October to show further support. Join us as we continue to fight this fight!
The Confidante Miami Beach
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month this October, The Confidante Miami Beach will offer guests and visitors Pink Flamingo Rosé in The Backyard, Bird & Bone and on the beach for $10 a glass and $38 a bottle. There will also be a Double Pink Froze cocktail with Pink Flamingo Rosé and Strawberry Puree ($16) available poolside.
The Confidante will donate 10% of all profits from Pink Flamingo during the month of October to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. Additionally on October 17th, The Confidante will host a Style Swap with Fika Events in the Carmen Miranda Ballroom, and all profits will go to Florida Breast Cancer Foundation.
DUNE
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, DUNE, the beachfront restaurant at Auberge Beach Residences & Spa Fort Lauderdale, has launched a month-long Think Pink at DUNE campaign to benefit Gilda’s Club South Florida, an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community. The support group offers free programs and services for men, women, and children impacted by cancer.
The campaign will offer a supplement to the a la carte dinner menu where 22% of proceeds will benefit the foundation. Guests can select from two specialty drinks and two dishes which will rotate on a weekly basis. Menus listed below. Additionally, all restaurant staff members will sport pink aprons to further promote the cause.
Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop
All month long, Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop, the award winning, South Florida-based bakery will be offering two special treats in celebration of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sweet seekers can indulge in a Pink Velvet Cake topped with a rosy, cream cheese frosting and chocolate drip shell; and a Pink Birthday Cake with a vibrant, buttercream frosting and extra sprinkles to show their support. Both offerings will be available at the Wynwood and Coconut Grove locations. Priced at $8.50 per slice and $68 for whole cakes, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation.
Fontainebleau Miami Beach
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month happening this October, Fontainebleau Miami Beach will partner with Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami Health System, South Florida’s leader in breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and care to host the 11th Bleau Goes Pink campaign.
To raise both awareness and funds for the cause, three-course, prix-fixe dinner menus priced at $55 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, will be offered throughout October at StripSteak by Michael Mina, Scarpetta by Scott Conant and Hakkasan. Each menu will include an appetizer, entrée, dessert and a complimentary glass of rosé. For every dinner ordered, five dollars will be donated to Sylvester.
Groot Hospitality
All month long, Groot Hospitality will #ThinkPink with the October Roses cocktail ($17), available at David Grutman’s Papi Steak, Komodo, Swan, and Bar Bevy. Not only will the October Roses cocktail look good on Instagram feeds, but a portion of the proceeds will also benefit Susan G. Komen. This pretty in pink cocktail is made with Grey Goose vodka, aperol, raspberry, rose petals and prosecco.
The Jim & Neesie
Together we make a difference. The Jim and Neesie is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month with special curated cocktail; Save the Tatas ($10). $1 will be donated to the Susan G Komen Foundation for every cocktail sold. The gin and tonic cocktail is made with gin infused rose petals, juniper, rosemary, and pink peppercorn.
La Mar By Gaston Acurio
La Mar by Gaston Acurio will offer a special themed dish during October. The Pink Causa for a Cause ($19) is a terrine of potato puree plated in the shape of a ribbon, tinted pink by the addition of beets, and includes crabmeat, sunchokes, salmon, avocado, smoked trout roe and creamy huancaina sauce. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Lobster Bar Sea Grille Miami Beach
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lobster Bar Sea Grille Miami Beach is going pink, literally! For the month of October, the tower above the restaurant will be backlit in pink to bring awareness to the cause. In addition, Lobster Bar’s Pastry Chef Mariela Cournoyer has crafted a very special “Pink Dome” dessert available only during October, and has pledged to donate 10% of the proceeds to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation.
This limited-edition white chocolate raspberry crémeux brings white chocolate silky custard on a base of a vanilla cookie with a layer of raspberry jam, covered in a rosy-hued white chocolate glaze. Served with strawberry sorbet and topped with an artful dab of whipped cream and a shave of white chocolate, it’s going on our worth-it list — a beautiful dessert for an equally beautiful cause!
Lona
“Drink the Pink” at Lona to support Breast Cancer Awareness all day every day, throughout the month of October. Join the staff and wear a pink bandana to receive your first pink drink on Lona! Available Pink Cocktails include Froze $13; Susie’s Sangria $13 (Red Wine Frozen Sangria); and Tequila for the Ta Tas $12 (Classic Margarita with a Pinot Noir floater).
Pink Bubbles on tap include Juve & Camps Rosé Brut Cava $12/$45 (Bottle); Chandon Rosé Split $14; and Taittinger Brut Prestige Rosé $129 (Bottle). Pink Wine selections include Rodney Strong $11/$42 (Bottle) and Chateau Miraval $58 (Bottle). 50% of proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Pisco y Nazca
Pisco y Nazca understands the impact that breast cancer has on its community, which is why they are committed to doing their part to help raise awareness and inspire action. Throughout October, Pisco will be serving Rosé Sour in every location.
For each one of these delicious cocktails sold, $1 will be donated to a national breast cancer foundation for research. Additionally, every staff member will wear a pink ribbon throughout the month, to show solidarity and encourage important conversations about health.
Planta South Beach
This year for Breast Cancer Awareness month, Planta South Beach is supporting the cause by giving proceeds from their Watermelon Agua Fresca and Mamey Soft-Serve to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. Ten percent of every purchase made during Breast Cancer Awareness month will go towards the foundation. There’s no better way to eat/drink than for a cause that works to cure cancer!
Sugar Factory American Brasserie
This year, Sugar Factory is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness by offering its extravagant ‘Think Pink’ Insane Milkshake. The Instagram-worthy milkshake is made with vanilla ice cream, white chocolate ganache, buttercream frosting, all topped with a pink whirly pop, pink crystal sprinkles, and the entire glass decorated with pink ganache, pink starbursts, and a perfect pink Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon.
The Think Pink Milkshake will be available during the month of October at all Sugar factory locations and for every milkshake sold, Sugar Factory will donate $1 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Swizzle Rum Bar & Drinkery
The same opening bar team behind famed Employees Only Miami, Swizzle Rum Bar & Drinkery, is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month by serving a ‘Mr. Pink’ ($13) cocktail. Swizzle Rum Bar will donate $1 for every cocktail sold to benefit the Susan G Komen Foundation.
This pink cocktail is incorporated with Banks 5 island rum & santa Teresa 1796 rum with Torres 10 Spanish brandy, spices, Swedish punsch campari, red rooibis tea, fresh lime and pineapple juice.
Toro Toro at InterContinental Miami
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Toro Toro at InterContinental Miami will be offering a specialty dessert and cocktail with proceeds benefitting two different non-profits for the cause. The Pan-Latin steakhouse’s renowned Insta-worthy dessert, La Bomba, will turn PINK for the entire month of October. The pink shell will be filled with cream cheese mousse, dulce de leche and strawberry ice cream, fresh berries, almond cookie crumble, a pink French kiss merengue and topped off with caramel, vanilla and berry sauce.
It will be available in a mini size for $20 or regular size for $35, with proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen. Additionally, the hotel will be participating in Sea Straws Co’s Limitless campaign by selling pink reusable straws throughout the property. Toro Toro will feature a specialty #Limitless cocktail for $15, served with the reusable straw. Proceeds from the straws and the cocktail will benefit local non-profit, Robyn’s Rainbows.
