Where to Celebrate Halloween 2020

Halloween is this weekend. If you need plans, we have you covered. The holiday is looking a little different this year due to the pandemic, but your favorite spots are still putting together some cool events and promotions. Black Market Miami

From now through Halloween, sports fans and cocktail enthusiasts can enjoy a Devil Wears Nada ($13). Whether spooky visitors desire a trick-or-treat, this exclusive drink hits sweet and savory notes making it very easy drinking. Bar Manager Johnny McConnon wanted to put an elegant spin on the negroni while also giving it a hint of hocus pocus.

The Devil Wears Nada features Tullamore D.E.W. XO Caribbean Rum Cask, Campari a dash of Grenadine rimmed with a smoked citrus zest which is then garnished with two devilish peppadew peppers and a skull shaped ice-cube. Tullamore D.E.W. finishes their whiskey in casks that previously held Caribbean rum which gives the cocktail an essence of fruit while maintaining the classic Tullamore D.E.W. character. Taste the cauldron bubble during their quarantined headquarters party on Halloween night!

Cantina Beach

Celebrate Dia de los Muertos on Saturday, October 31st at Cantina Beach, the casual Mexican restaurant located at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami. From 5PM – 11PM guests can indulge in bottomless tequila, Mezcal & Mini Margaritas ($25 plus tax and gratuity), a la carte menu, specialty dishes, entertainment and plenty more.

The enchantment of Cantina doesn’t end with the food and cocktails, the décor is just as charming. The restaurant has a thatched palapa roof built by the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians, tiki torches and a fire pit, all nestled nicely by the ocean.

Clevelander South Beach

The iconic hotel, known as one of the ultimate hospitality and entertainment destination on Ocean Drive, is celebrating Halloween with its spooktacular Halloween party, Hallowcleve, on October 31st, from 7 pm to 12 am.

Guests are encouraged to put their best costume on display, participate in the costume contest, and compete for the two-night stay grand prize. There will be live entertainment from DJ Smooth and DJ RZ Spinze, and a $13 spine-chilling drink menu available from Thursday, October 29th to Saturday, October 31st.

Le Chick Miami

Ever heard of a Gatsby Prohibition-themed celebration for Halloween? Wynwood hotspot, Le Chick goes Great Gatsby this year to celebrate the spooky holiday at their lively bar scene, better known as the Le CoqTail Lounge.

It’s time to go back to the roaring twenties with a unique ‘20s theme celebration filled with festive decoration, dressed-up staff, and fun-crafted cocktails. With cocktailing and entertainment being Miami’s foremost priorities, what better way to celebrate the holiday than sipping on your favorite al fresco cocktail sponsored by Ilegal Mezcal, or any other drink of your choice.

Le Chick’s alfresco cocktail terrace will be offering lounge seating for the night of Halloween. The tables are available for parties of up to six and eight people. For a table of six, the minimum spend is $500, and for a table of eight, the minimum spend is $700. Prepare to step back in time to the roaring twenties as you bring your Great Gatsby themed entertainment to life!

Lightkeepers

Located just off of Key Biscayne’s gorgeous waters, Lightkeepers at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami will be kicking off Halloween weekend with a Full Moon Party on Friday, October 30th from 5PM – 10PM. Along with specials like ½ off one dozen oysters, a $25 bottomless Rosé package and music, you get a front row seat to view this rare Blue Moon. Reservations required by calling (305) 365-4156.

Loews Miami Beach

The team of mad scientist bartenders at Bar Collins conjured up a spell bounding martini to enjoy this Halloween. Inspired by imagining what the most famous monsters might sip when visiting South Beach, this is the Bar Collins spin on what Frankenstein would order before his big night of fright. The vodka based Frankentini is available now through Sunday at Bar Collins for $16.

Lona Cocina & Tequileria

Celebrate all weekend (Friday-Sunday) at Lona with specialty Halloween Themed Cocktails ($12) – Black Magic Margarita with Volcan Tequila, lime, agave, with black cocktail shimmer served with a Skeleton Straw and the Blood Orange Paloma with Volcan Tequila, Illegal Mezcal, blood orange juice, grapefruit soda served in a clay mug.

Paletas Morelia

Get into the Halloween spirit with Paletas Morelia and its spooky toppings just for the last week of October! All week long, Paletas will have an orange-colored White Chocolate Dipping for your Halloween-loving hearts.

From now to November 2nd, the dipping will be FREE across all of its locations in South Florida! On the weekend, guests will be able to get a FREE paleta when they purchase 2 paletas.

Sala’o Cuban Restaurant & Bar

Celebrate Halloween a little early this year at contemporary Cuban eatery, Sala’o Cuban Restaurant & Bar. The Calle Ocho restaurant will be hosting a Pirates of the Caribbean Halloween Party on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 7PM to 11PM.

Guests are encouraged to wear their best pirate costumes and enjoy live entertainment while sipping on refreshing libations. On offer will be Chef Alejandro Porben’s inventive new menu items like shrimp cocktail with tomato foam served over dry ice; and black squid ink rice with stuffed squid. Of course, all safety protocols will be in place including extensive sanitation methods, social distancing, and face masks.

The Scapegoat

The ScapeGoat, South of Fifth’s favorite intimate drinking den, will be hosting a spooky Sinners & Saints Halloween Party. Guests are encouraged to dress their best…or worst. On offer will be specialty cocktails that complement the theme. The party will be taking place on Saturday, October 31st from 8PM until midnight.

Sherwoods Bistro & Bar

In the need of some killer dinner plans for Halloween? Sherwoods Bistro & Bar will be hosting a Halloween Dinner on this night that lands on a full moon! The dinner features dishes off of its family-style “For The Tribe” menu that has shareable yet fang-tastic Roasted Duck, Ploughman Platter, Garlicky Kale Salad, Organic Chicken Breast Tenders, and more!

For the adults, they can pair their dish up with the killer cocktail called Carrie’s Cocktail inspired by the 1976 horror film, Carrie. Boo-gie the night away with live music from a DJ during the Masquerade Party. Join Sherwoods on this spooky night for some wicked fun!

The Taurus

This Halloween, head on over to The Taurus for a Grove in the 90s Halloween Party. Imbibers can enjoy 90s inspired cocktails such as the Frozen Moose Juice, 190 Octane, The Four Horsemen, Jamaican Lizards, Incredible Hulk, and Frozen Call A Cab. Festive shots and beer specials will also be on offer. Guests can participate in the Best Mask Contest for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate. The party will be taking place from Noon to midnight on Saturday, October 31st.

THesis Hotel Miami

On Halloween between 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., guests and neighboring families are invited to the hotel for a drive-thru trick-or-treating experience. Vehicles will be directed to drive through the hotel’s porte cochere. Children will receive their own personal bag of treats and goodies as an added bonus a few randomly selected bags will also include a gift certificate for a one-night hotel stay and $100 in food & beverage credit to enjoy at Food & Wine “Best New Chefs” honoree Niven Patel’s Mamey restaurant.

Hotel guests can also receive a taste of the fun. They can go down to the lobby where front desk agents will also be giving out sweets. Parents can rest assured that their family’s safety is a priority, any employee passing out candy will be wearing a mask and changing their gloves regularly throughout the night.

Toro Toro

Get in the Halloween spirit at Toro Toro, Richard Sandoval’s acclaimed Pan-Latin steakhouse inside the InterContinental Miami, with festive cocktails. This year, the bar team at the restaurant has created the Zombie Apocalypse ($18) to celebrate the holiday, available starting on Friday, October 23. The cocktail is made with Brugal 1888 Rum, Brugal Supremo Rum, Dark Rum Midori, pineapple, passion fruit, lime, orange and Absinthe rinse.
