Where to Celebrate New Year’s Eve 2021

2021 is (finally) upon us. Where will you be kicking 2020 to the curb? If you’ve waited until the last minute like us, don’t worry: There are still plenty of options available to ring in the New Year. Below, you’ll find a list of local restaurants and venues that are hosting NYE festivities.

1 Hotel South Beach

Spend your last meal of 2020 with a delicious pre-fix holiday menu at Habitat at 1 Hotel South Beach. Available for $95++, guests can enjoy delectable dishes such as Morrita Charred Octopus, Tamal Vegano, Crab Stuffed Snapper, and desserts such as White Chocolate Tres Leches or Cinnamon Chocolate Tart.

Those who are seeking a later dining experience can head up to 1 Hotel South Beach’s rooftop restaurant Watr. This pre-fix menu will be available from 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m for $195++. At Watr, guests can indulge in dishes like Parmesan Crusted Scallops, Hamachi & Tuna Daikon Crudo, Truffle Scallop Rolls, Wild Mushrooms Noodles, and Seco de Res while taking in 1 Hotel’s expansive ocean views.

Ariete

This New Year’s Eve, join Chef/Owner Michael Beltran for the final Versos Sencillos tasting menu of 2020. Chef Beltran’s twelve-course tasting menu that has been a hit since it first launched earlier this year. The special menu, which includes a glass of bubbly, is priced at $225 per person with an optional wine pairing available for an additional $125 or $190 per person, and an optional cocktail pairing available for $95 or $55 (spirit free).

Dishes include three Amuse offerings; a local fish ceviche with strawberry and tomato jus, tomato leaf powder, and veil of tomato; savory potato doughnut with foie gras mousse, bitter coffee mousse, and shaved white truffles; sofrito guinea hen with fricasse jus; and pork tenderloin with braised pork cheeks, sherried chestnuts, local calabaza, and mushroom espuma, and more. Dessert, prepared by pastry guru Chef Devin Braddock, will be a surprise. Ariete is located at 3540 Main Highway in Coconut Grove.

The first seating is from 7PM to 8PM; the second seating is from 8PM to 9:30PM. Guests who stick around for the later seating can count down to the New Year and watch the ball drop. There is very limited seating available. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (305) 640-5862.

Baoli

This New Year’s Eve, set foot into a celestially beautiful affair full of otherworldly entertainment at Bâoli Miami. The restaurant and lounge will transform into a pristine, all-white wonderland filled with angelic beauties, glamorous performances, and plenty of champagne to fill your glasses.

Delight in an ornate feast and ring in 2021 in ethereal elegance by igniting your inner Crazy Angel. Be sure to dress to the nines in your best white cocktail attire as we say good-bye to 2020 for good in true opulence that’s heaven-sent. The gates will open at 7 pm.

The menu will feature a three-course family-style menu with tempting and delectable dishes including New Salmon Carpaccio, Wagyu Beef Tataki, White Truffle Kamameshi, Smoke Roast Porterhouse, Butter Lettuce & Alaskan King Crab, Josep Oven Grilled Bone-in RibEye, Alba White Truffle Risotto, Omakase Sushi Platter, Hot Charcoal Grilled Rainbow Trout, and the New Year’s Imperial Dessert Experience, to name a few.

Reservations are required, and limited seating is available. There will be two seating options at Bâoli. The first seating is between 7 pm and 8 pm for two hours, and the prix fixe menu is $195; the second seating is after 8:30 pm, and the price is $395. The beverage is based on consumption.

BOURBON STEAK

BOURBON STEAK, Chef Michael Mina’s award-winning steakhouse inside the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, will be offering two seatings on New Year’s Eve. The first seating, 5:30PM – 7PM, will be priced at $195 per person; and the second seating, 8PM – 10:30PM, will be priced at $225 per person and will include a Champagne toast.

Guests will have a choice of an appetizer, entree from the wood-burning grill accompanied by a trio of farm fresh side dishes and a chef’s dessert duo from the restaurant’s coveted menu. Dinner highlights include wood-fired entrees such as 32 oz. Porterhouse for two, 18 oz. Dry-Aged Bone-in Ribeye, 14 oz. Veal Chop, Rack of Lamb, Miso-Glazed Seabass and Herb-Roasted Chicken Breast; Ice Cold Shellfish Tower with oysters, shrimp, lobster and king crab; and Spicy Beef Lettuce Cups with Thai chili & basil, sweet chili sauce and crunchy rice. Supplements at an additional cost are available including caviar and an 8oz. “A5” Japanese Wagyu New York Strip.

For dessert, guests may indulge in both a Coffee Bar with chocolate espresso beans, sweet mascarpone and Kahlua gelee; and Verrine with white chocolate cream, raspberry merengue and lemon curd. Bulla Gastrobar

Join Bulla Gastrobar on Thursday, December 31st for a delicious New Year’s Eve meal! Guests who decide to join will have the option to pick between an a la carte menu or a four course pre-fix menu for $60 per person. Some items one may find on the pre-fix menu include tartar de atun, gambas al ajillo, short ribs, and churros.

There will also be a complimentary toast at midnight and 25% off selected sparkling wine bottles during the New Year’s Eve dinner.

Café La Trova

New Year’s Eve doesn’t get more Miami than celebrating at Cafe La Trova! Join us in the heart of Little Havana and immerse yourself in Café La Trova’s nostalgia-tinged nightlife scene!

We’re pulling out all the stops to ring in 2020 the only way we know how: with live La Trova music, delicious cocktails by master cantinero Julio Cabrera, contemporary Latin cuisine by James Beard Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein, flowing bubby, late night-DJs, and so much more. Drunken Dragon

Drunken Dragon is celebrating New Year’s Eve with NO cover or ticket prices. Guests can enjoy Korean BBQ and tiki-themed cocktails from the a la carte menu from 5 p.m. to close. To toast to the new year, a bottomless champagne special will be available from 10 p.m. til midnight, priced at $40 per person (plus tax and gratuity).

Diners can also order Drunken Dragon’s “BFR” holiday special ($60) 14-Hour braised short rib served with steamed buns, sesame leaves, lettuce leaves, with chimichurri, house made hoisin or special red dragon sauce. Guest DJs will provide a lounge atmosphere all evening, and party favors will be distributed before the ball drops.

Hakkasan

Hutong

Ring in the new year at the hottest new restaurant in Miami at Hutong in Brickell. The contemporary Northern Chinese restaurant will be serving its occasionally fiery a la carte dinner menu all night long where guests will be greeted with a glass of champagne and can enjoy signature dishes including Hot & Spicy Lobster Bao, Peking Duck with Pancake for $168.

For 100$ more you can enjoy all the signature dishes as well as Pan Fried Wagyu Beef with Braised Sauce. The best part, guests can take in the 70-foot illuminating wall of colors.

Jaya at the Setai

The Setai’s signature restaurant, Jaya, will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Dinner event inspired by the ancient spice trading routes. The evening will feature five (5) countries, five (5) shows, and an extravagant 5-course menu paired with free-flowing Louis Roederer Champagne.

The seated affair will take place from 7PM until 1AM on Thursday, December 31. Guests will have the choice of sitting in the open-air courtyard ($695/Adult; $320/Children 12 and under) or inside the restaurant ($475/Adult; $250/Children 12 and under).

Juvia

Surrounded by Lincoln Road’s sizzling, cosmopolitan vibe and unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean and South Beach’s famed Art Deco District, the ambiance at Juvia exudes understated luxury. With the stunning views, an instagrammable toast is the perfect way to jumpstart your 2020!

Two seatings are available on December 31st at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The family style tasting menu at 6 p.m. will be $120 per person and includes ½ bottle of LOUIS ROEDERER BRUT. The 2nd seating at 8 p.m. will be $475 per person and includes a 1/2 bottle of ROEDERER CRISTAL BRUT.

LPM Restaurant & Bar

Au Revoir 2020 and bonjour 2021! This New Year’s Eve, enjoy an intimate and festive dining experience at internationally renowned French-Mediterranean restaurant LPM Restaurant & Bar starting at 6 pm.

Known globally for its light, fresh, and vibrant French Mediterranean menu created by Chef Patron Raphael Duntoye, LPM has a buzzing atmosphere and stunning interiors that showcase curated artwork. Guests are invited to dine-in on the covered and expansive outdoor terrace and/or bar terrace in the front of the restaurant,

Le Jardinier

Ring in the New Year al fresco in the Miami Design District at Michelin-starred chef Alain Verzeroli’s Le Jardinier. The vegetable-forward restaurant will offer two seatings with tasting menus and a la carte option available. The first seating with reservations from 5PM until 6:30PM will offer a $125 per person, 5-course tasting with a $70 wine pairing option available. Second seating will feature a $175 per person, 6-course tasting menu, including a Champagne toast, with a $120 wine pairing supplement; reservations will begin at 8PM until 10PM.

Both seatings will offer a limited a la carte menu in addition to the tasting menus. Standout dishes from both seatings include Kampachi Crudo with citrus, winter radish and beets; Maine Lobster with winter vegetables, broccoli and ginger coulis; Filet de Boeuf with sauce Périgueux and fingerling potatoes; and Cauliflower with crustacean consommé and Russian caviar.

Welcome 2021 at Osaka Miami to indulge in the ultimate Nikkei experience with family and friends! Tanuki

Celebrate NYE in style at Tanuki with a Pan-Asian feast. Join us for a special seven-course dinner with optional beverage pairing. First seating is from 5pm – 8pm for $78 per person and second seating is from 9pm – onwards for $108 per person.

Optional beverage pairing is $48 per person. Menu features Oysters, Stone Crabs, Sushi and Sashimi, Chilled Soba, Dim Sum, and more. Chilled Soba is part of the Japanese tradition of eating a bowl of soba noodles on New Year’s Eve just before midnight. The most common explanation of their meaning is that the long shape of the noodle symbolizes the crossing from one year to the next.

Toro Toro

Ring in the New Year at Toro Toro, Richard Sandoval’s acclaimed Pan-Latin steakhouse inside the InterContinental Miami. At 7:30PM on New Year’s Eve, Toro Toro will be offering a prix-fixe feast, priced at $275++ per person, accompanied by live music, dancers, and a bottle of champagne. The feast, curated by Executive Chef Jean Delgado, begins with a Seafood Cocktail Platter featuring assorted sushi, stone crab, cocktail ship and swordfish mousse.

For the Second Course, guests can choose between Ancho Chile Wagyu Beef Tartar & Quail Egg, served with piquillo peppers, crispy quinoa, ponzu ginger and boniato chips or Truffle Lil Gem Romaine Caesar with corn, bacon, avocado, Manchego cheese, crispy shallots and truffle.

The Third Course dishes on offer include parmesan-crusted Pan Seared Scallop with cauliflower silk and lemon butter sauce; and Lamb Belly served with hummus, parsley and mint gremolata and char bread. The flavorful Main Course features a choice between Pan Seared Branzino, an 8oz Australian Wagyu Filet Mignon or 8oz Dry Aged NY Striploin.

To finish the feast, guests can indulge in a delectable Trio Dessert which includes assorted truffles, champagne sorbet and mini cigar chocolate. Toro Toro will have a special menu on offer for children, priced at $99 per child (ages 6-12); $15 per child (ages 5 and under).

Toscana Divino

For this special occasion, the restaurant is offering a five-course preset menu priced at $174++ per person. Guests can book a table for the first seating from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. or the second seating which is from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m, and enjoy dinner on the covered patio or inside the spacious restaurant.

The meal will begin with an amuse bouche of shrimp gazpacho with with caviar and lemon air, followed by a choice of appetizer, where diners can choose between lobster paired with green apple, crème fraiche, peas and smoked trout caviar; or cheese fondue with yolk and mushroom ravioli and topped with Perigord truffle.

Next up, New Year’s Eve revelers can enjoy a pasta dish composed of Acquerello rice, bisque, shrimp and lemon confit. Main course choices include black grouper with endive, sea colors sauce and sorrel or beef plated with burnt eggplant, bell pepper, royal trumpet and truffle sauce, while a honey, white chocolate, burnt meringue is on offer for dessert.
