“In Santiago we trust.” That’s exactly what we were thinking after trying the new Mexican concept from Cantina La Veinte’s Executive Chef Santiago Gomez. Unlike Cantina, Tacology at Brickell City Centre is a more casual affair that emphasizes street food creations but also brings some upscale dishes along for the ride. Items are meant to be shared, but here’s the thing: The food is so good that you won’t want to.
Let’s get right to it: You need to visit River Yacht Club. The colorful maritime space is worth checking out for the decor alone — it’s beautiful on a sunny day — but the real draw here is the food. It’s easy to miss Lekoke Wine & Bites while you’re driving down SW 8th Street, more popularly known as Calle Ocho. The cozy, unassuming wine bar doesn’t have the giant signs that hot spots like Ball and Chain, Azucar and other Little Havana staples have — blink and you’ll pass right by it. As Miami Spice enters its second (and final) month, you only have a few more weeks to take advantage of all the great deals in town. It’s crunch time, so every dining decision counts. That’s why we recommend you visit Lure Fishbar sooner rather than later.
Southern food is bae. It’s hearty, personable and fun on its own, but The Social Club’s Blair Wilson is kicking it up a notch with his personal touch on the restaurant’s latest menu. This isn’t the time-tested American-inspired fare you’re used to — it’s so much better.
