Our idea of a perfect brunch is simple: delicious carbs, refreshing drinks and outdoor seating (if Miami’s weather cooperates). Our most recent visit to Bird & Bone at The Confidante checked all those boxes. While our dinner experiences have always been great, the Southern restaurant’s brunch took our love for the place to the next level.
With Miami Spice well underway and over 200 restaurants to visit, there’s a lot of eating to do. Focusing your sights on hotels makes it easier (and faster) to start dwindling that list down — you have a bunch of restaurants all in one spot, so you can spend a day dining out and enjoying Miami Spice selections. Case in point: The Confidante.
Talde Miami Beach is always a party. The place just oozes coolness, and the eclectic Asian-American menu is delicious whether you’re sober or not. Recently, the restaurant refreshed its menu and added several new dishes for guests to enjoy. Our taste buds approve.
Few foods excite us like fried chicken. There’s something about the juicy bird and crispy skin … omg brb drooling all over the keyboard right now.
Where were we? Oh yeah, fried chicken. We love it and its many iterations — hot chicken included. Earlier this year, Miami got a taste of hot chicken at Wynwood Yard from Richard Hales (Sakaya Kitchen/Blackbrick) and his latest concept, Bird & Bone. The popup has since made a permanent move to The Confidante and taken over the old Seagrape location.
With the bigger space comes a bigger menu filled with Southern favorites beyond the bird. Make no mistake: The chicken is the main attraction (and rightfully so), but you’re going to want to try a little bit of everything … and you should.
