It’s finally here: the 2018 World Cup. We’ve been waiting four long years since the last one, and restaurants across South Florida are ready. Below, you’ll find a list of specials and events at eateries and bars across the tri-county area. As always, details are subject to change. Call the venue in advance for the latest details.

1 Hotel South Beach

On June 17th, for the Brazil vs. Switzerland game, WATR at the 1 Rooftop will host a viewing of the game with Brazilian cocktails and specials on the menu’s new skewers. Sit back, relax, and take in all that comes with this floating oasis 18 stories above the beach. The special frozen “Bazilian Time” will be $16 and made of Smoked Pineapple Infused Cachaca, Giffard Banane Du Bresil Orgeat, Maracuya, Lime and Peychauds.

American Social Bar & Kitchen

American Social Bar & Kitchen, its Brickell and Las Olas locations, have become some of South Florida’s top spots for watching sports, and for good reason. With numerous TV screens throughout the bars and outside patios, there’s no better sports bar and restaurant to watch sports. To celebrate the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the Brickell and Las Olas enclaves have created country-themed drinks, perfect for rooting the team of your choice:

Biscayne Bay Brewing Company

What better way to enjoy and watch the World Cup games while sipping on a cold beer? Biscayne Bay Brewing Company will be brewing up all kinds of specials for soccer fans. While soccer fans are cheering on their teams they will be able to enjoy pitchers for $7.50, $.25 cent croquetas, and every team any team scores everyone gets a free shooter of Kaptain’s Kolsch!

Bristol’s Burgers

Hollywood’s favorite burger joint gives sports lovers and their families the ultimate laidback party venue to host any viewing party. In honor of the 2018 World Cup, Bristol’s Burgers is offering the option to “build-your-own party platter” including their signature Hollywood fries, BBQ wings, sliders and tater tots, customizable for groups of all sizes.

Guests can add a bucket of canned beer for $25 or bottles for $30. In addition, from 5 -7 p.m., enjoy happy hour pricing which includes $5 beers, mac & cheese tots, smoked chicken wings and much more. Zone into the game while the kids check out the complementary arcade or even roam The Diplomat Landing Marina where there are outdoor games like ping-pong, corn hole, and giant Jenga.

Bulla Gastrobar

Enjoy watching the 2018 World Cup at Miami’s favorite Spanish restaurant, Bulla Gastrobar. Indulge in delicious spanish tapas including Huevos Bulla, a variety of cheese plates and refreshing sangrias all while watching the games on their big screen TVs. The games will be displayed during operation hours.

Caña

Caña, the new restaurant within Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami that serves up Cuban comfort food with a modern twist, is looking to become Brickell’s World Cup headquarters with food specials, themed cocktails, futbol décor and, most importantly, a giant projector displaying every FIFA match.

Guests can enjoy beautiful views of Biscayne Bay and fun-sized goals for play while sipping on special World Cup themed cocktails and bites all month long.

El Vez

Cheer on your team to glory this summer during the 2018 World Cup at El Vez. El Vez offers great Mexican breakfast and lunch and of course some amazing Mexican cocktails and cervezas, making it the perfect place to put any soccer fan in the mood for the 2018 World Cup. Enjoy watching the game on the outdoor patio with a cool breeze, views of the ocean and a refreshing drink in your hand. El Vez is open during the week from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Espanola Way

Espanola Way, located in the middle of South Beach, will host a street party for the World Cup throughout the June/July games and offer drink and food specials at participating restaurants during the matches. Given that Espanola Way has 17 restaurants that celebrate different countries around the world, each will likely take on its own team. For example: Boteco Copacabana will cheer on Brazil, etc.

ETARU Hallandale

Catch the World Cup with an oceanfront view at ETARU Hallandale’s Beach Bar. For the early risers looking for somewhere to catch the morning games, ETARU will offer a complimentary drink with the purchase of any breakfast dish. Dishes include the Avocado Toast with wasabi and Tokyo Beni with poached eggs, smoked salmon and yuzu hollandaise on a shiso waffle.

In the afternoon, ETARU’s beloved ETARU Burger made with tomato, onion and shitake ketchup, served with french fries will be offered for $18 with a complimentary Sapporo Light. The a la carte menu will also be available with a wide selection of fresh sushi, salads and Robata dishes. A variety of refreshing cocktails and beers are available at the bar to keep the party going beyond your meal. ETARU is located at 111 South Surf Road in Hallandale Beach.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach

Fontainebleau Miami Beach invites guests and locals alike to cheer on their favorite teams during the 2018 World Cup for an interactive viewing experience starting June 14. With themed activations taking place around the resort, guests who are not traveling to Russia to attend this year’s tournament can partake in Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s viewing parties in the comfort of their private cabana or by booking a spa special for fans of all kinds.

Viewing Parties
Hosting oceanfront-viewing parties via giant screen with themed entertainment for each match, Fontainebleau Miami Beach offers an exciting way to root for teams participating in the 2018 World Cup. Guests who book a cabana at Arkadia pool will have a front row seat to a 14’x24’ screen, offering a fun and private experience at the resort’s 21-and-over pool.

Themed cocktails from participating country teams will also be served to guests who book a cabana at Arkadia. Specialty cocktails include:

Jezebel Bar + Kitchen

Grab your favorite team’s jersey and head on over to Jezebel Bar + Kitchen to watch the highly-anticipated World Cup matches this year. Kicking off on Friday, June 15th, the Miami Beach hotspot will open its doors early at 2PM Mondays–Saturdays on all game days throughout the series to air all upcoming FIFA games on the multiple flat-screen TV’s that surround the entire venue.

It wouldn’t be a real watch party if there weren’t any specialty drinks to cheers with during those celebratory “GOAL!” moments. Rightfully, Jezebel’s full cocktail menu will be offered along with specials including $25 buckets and $10 pitchers of Heineken beer; and if you want to “go big or go home,” pitchers big enough to quench the thirst of up to 6 of your pals will also be offered for $50 a pop.

Miranda Cuisine & Bar

Miranda Cuisine & Bar will feature the games on four 90” flat-screen TVs where guests can comfortably work while enjoying free WiFi, an executive lunch menu and World Cup specials throughout the day.

Come hungry and enjoy Miranda’s new executive lunch, which includes a prix fixe menu with delicious items, such as Grilled Salmon with Thai Curry Sauce, Fries and Vegetables; Classic Cheeseburger with Irish Cheddar and Fries; and Roasted Chicken Breast with Sofrito Sauce, Fries and Grilled Vegetables, in addition to an iced tea or soda, soup or salad of the day and a homemade dessert. Lunch is $15 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

From June 14th – July 15th, in addition to the executive lunch menu, Miranda Cuisine & Bar will offer drink specials including $5 beers, $7 glasses of wine, and cocktail specials. Plus, a selection of bar bites for $10 each.

Novecento

Celebrate, a special three-course Prix-Fixe Early Game Menu will be available from 7AM to 9AM for $25 per person. The menu will feature a variety of Novecento’s signature empanadas such as steak, chicken, spinach and cheese and ham and cheese; Argentinian French Toast made with Brioche bread, condensed milk and dulce de leche; Bacon Pancakes featuring a bacon infused maple syrup; Avocado Toast; the Lomito Sandwich made with thinly sliced filet; and their beloved Choripan sandwich. Lighter options include the Heartwise Omelette and Salmon Toast.

If you’re feeling boozy, enjoy unlimited Mimosas for an additional $20 per person or quench your thirst with some ice-cold Heineken priced at $25 per bucket. Rivalry matches will feature a live DJ, afterparties, face painting forkids along with raffles and giveaways with prizes such as official team jerseys, official soccer balls, roundtrip airline tickets courtesy of Aerolíneas Argentinas and Delta Air Lines and much more!

OFA

Catch the World Cup at Ofa Restaurant – Miami Beach’s beloved progressive Brazilian restaurant and bar. Nestled in the hip, ever-growing Sunset Harbor neighborhood, Ofa welcomes diners and imbibers to enjoy its World Cup Special of 3 appetizers and 3 beers for $35 on its lush al fresco patio lounge. Game watchers can choose from Brazilian favorites that include Pao de Queijo (traditional cheese bread), Rice or Beef Croquettes, Fried Yucca or Coxinha. Beer options include BudLight or Budweiser. Ofa’s a la carte menu will also be available.

Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM)

As part of Bal Harbour Village’s art program, hotel guests and residents can participate in a guided tour of “The World’s Game” at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) on Sunday, June 24th at 1 p.m. The tour will highlight the emotions and symbols of football fanfare. Pisco y Nazca

Pisco y Nazca Kendall and Doral will be displaying the 2018 World Cup on their big screen TVs. Enjoy classic Peruvian dishes and Pisco sours while rooting for your favorite team. The games will be on display during the restaurants hours of operations.

VEZA SUR

World Cup mania is upon us and VEZA SUR Brewing Co. is ready. From June 14 to July 15, soccer fans can head to VEZA SUR to watch the games on big screen projectors in the bar and out on the patio with a beer in hand (aka: the Breakfast of Champions). Rep your favorite team’s jersey and enjoy $2 Brazilian Chopps during all games.

The competition doesn’t end with soccer, the brewery will also be hosting their very own foosball tournament every weekend to keep the party going, so be sure to sign up at the pub. The winner will take home a slim keg and their own VEZA SUR swag bag. If you feel inspired to practice your own soccer skills or just unwind a little, our goal shoot-out will be ready: que golazo… or not!

VEZA SUR will be releasing the perfect beer for soccer mania: El Diez 10. In honor of the greats – Pele, Maradona, Messi, Kaká and James, que equipazo! This refreshing brew is their take on the classic Belgian Witbier style, with subtle spices of coriander and orange peel paired with fresh Ruby Red grapefruit at 4.1% ABV. W South Beach

This World Cup, W South Beach is taking the games to the sands of South Beach with weekly beach soccer boot camp fueled by Soccer Shape on Thursday and Sunday mornings. The soccer series kicks off June 14 and costs $32 per person. In addition, the hotel will be live streaming the matches daily with morning games at The Dutch where a specialty $24 breakfast and mocktails will be served. In the afternoons, guests can catch the games at Living Room Bar which will debut a series of themed cocktails.
