Barbakoa by Finka Is Now Open
With the success of Finka Table & Tap and Amelia’s 1931 under her belt, Chef Eileen Andrade expands into Miami-Dade County from her West Kendall gems and opens her newest brick & mortar location in Doral, “Barbakoa by Finka,” located at The Doral Yard, a dynamic hub of unique culinary vendors, live music and community events in Downtown Doral.
The Doral Yard co-founders Della Heiman Goldkind, best known for her work with The Wynwood Yard, and Joe Furst of Place Projects, are thrilled to collaborate with Andrade on establishing a full-service restaurant at the Yard. Find it at 8455 NW 53rd St Suite G106, Doral, FL 33166.
True to her iconic style, Andrade boasts a brand new Latin-Asian Fusion menu that is sure to amaze the taste buds of her loyal customers and newcomers alike. With adventurous bites like the Chicken Fried Alligator with pickled onion and pickled radish tacos and Wok-Fired Okra with kimchee lime sauce and cashews or twists on Latin-favorite comfort foods like the Loaded Spanish Boniato Fries with vaca frita, kimchee sour cream, maduros, cabbage kimchee and fried garlic and the Smoked Brisket with aji amarillo mac n’ cheese and grilled corn on the cob, this menu is sure not to disappoint.
Looking for something lovin’ from the oven? Guests can also find a selection of flavorful pizzas like the Camaron Enchilado Pizza and “Hot Honey” Pepperoni Pizza to name a few. No man gets left behind on this journey from West Kendall to Doral–Barbakoa by Finka also includes the iconic Islas Canarias Croquetas on their menu. For the cherry on top, Barbakoa by Finka features a craft cocktail program with rotating, handcrafted cocktails and classic cocktails like it’s sister restaurant, Finka Table & Tap.
Barbakoa by Finka creates a light and airy ambiance to reflect its inspiration by nature. Natural materials like wood & leather set in a cozy green and neutral room create a perfect environment for catching up with friends or a date night. Stop by for Happy Hour and grab a seat at the bar with views of the open kitchen to catch all of the pizza slinging and prep action. With indoor and outdoor dining as well as a private “Green House ”room for events, Barbakoa by Finka will be Doral’s newest hub for all things lunch, dinner and bar.
Andrade focuses on three things when bringing a new concept to life: good food, good vibes and good drinks, and she is excited to bring to Doral a taste of what she knows best so guests can experience the flavors from far beyond in their own backyard.
The menu is available at Barbakoa by Finka daily on Sunday – Thursday from 11:30am-10:00PM and Friday – Saturday 11:30am-12am | The restaurant is located in the backyard of The Doral Yard.
