Sunny’s Steakhouse Closing for Season

It’s that time of year again, we must bid adieu to Sunny’s Steakhouse for the season. However, the Jaguar Sun team is excited to share that during the pop-up’s off-time, renovations will be made to turn Sunny’s into a permanent restaurant. The outdoor steakhouse will offer their last day of service on Sunday, May 8th (Mother’s Day).

Owners Will Thompson and Chef Carey Hynes created the pop-up to survive the pandemic, and have gone through a few iterations before developing the Sunny’s Steakhouse we know today. What began as a taco concept in an outdoor lot with wooden picnic tables, grew into a charming steakhouse with white linen-topped tables surrounding a string lit banyan tree.

The Sunny’s Steakhouse team will be returning to Jaguar Sun Downtown and serving up pastas starting June 1st.
