Introducing Avalon by Day

Miami Beach has a new dining option for daytime culinary fare in a locale that is a longtime favorite of residents and visitors alike. The iconic Avalon Hotel, located in the heart of the Historic Art Deco District, is now home to AVALON BY DAY, serving up breakfast, lunch and a 3-day weekend brunch.

Featuring a wide variety of palate-pleasing dishes and outdoor terrace seating options, Avalon by Day is the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy the ocean breeze and savor a variety of fresh, seasonal dishes. The venue is also ideal for group meetings or celebrating a special occasion, accommodating up to 150 people.

Breakfast is served seven days a week from 7am ‘til 11am and includes classic morning fare such as Baked French Toast, Eggs Benedict, or a Fruit & Yogurt Bowl topped with granola and a honey drizzle.

Avalon by Day is the ideal spot for a business lunch or dining with friends Monday through Thursday from 11am ‘til 3pm. The menu has a wide range of offerings to satisfy any taste. Begin your meal with Burrata, Calamari or a Caesar Salad, and choose from entrées that include lighter fare such as a Chopped Salad with Salmon, Shrimp or Chicken, or heartier fare such as the wildly popular Macadamia-Crusted Snapper, Jumbo Shrimp Scampi Provencal, or the Avalon Burger – a premium blend of sirloin, short rib and brisket.

The weekend kicks off a day early at Avalon by Day, with brunch served on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am ‘til 3pm. With a DJ spinning tunes in the background, the Brunch menu includes Florentine Eggs Benedict, Shrimp Cocktail, Baked French Toast, Fresh Capellini and more. To satisfy your sweet tooth, top it off with a slice of Pecan-Crusted Key Lime Pie, Cheesecake, Sorbet or Gelato. And nothing says weekend brunch like adding a refreshing Bellini or a Mimosa to complement your meal – with the second one on the house! Valet parking is available for brunch for $10 for up to three hours.

Avalon by Day is located in the Avalon Hotel, 700 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach. Convenient parking is available in the public garage just one block away on 7th Street between Collins Avenue and Washington Avenue.

Wok Star Supper Club x Hutong Miami Collab

Miami’s food personality and event producer, Eleanor Hoh (@wokstar), kicks off 2025 with a special Wok Star Supper Club at Hutong Miami—a world-renowned, contemporary Northern Chinese restaurant. Join us Sunday, March 16, at 6 PM for an exclusive evening of exquisite flavors, curated menu, and curated like-minded guests.

Inspired by the auspicious number 8, the Prix Fixe menu is $88 per person (including tax & tip) for 88 lucky guests. The experience begins with a Meet & Greet at Hutong’s stunning bar, where guests can get to know each other and sip a welcome complimentary Dona Rosalba Rosé. Guests can also enjoy a robust list of exotic cocktails like Comfortably Numb and Zen Garden, available a la carte.

The curated menu features dim sum delights—Lamb Bao, Seafood Potstickers, Wagyu Beef Mille-feuille, and a Truffle Mushroom Bao for vegetarians. For the main event, Hutong’s signature dishes take center stage, including a show-stopping Flaming Peking Duck presentation. As night falls, the restaurant’s 70-foot hand-carved wood wall comes alive with a dazzling light show.

This exclusive dining experience is by reservation only with limited seating. Make sure to choose WOK STAR SUPPER CLUB. Secure your spot here.

New Menu at Byblos

Byblos Miami approaches its 10-year anniversary this summer, and the restaurant is introducing delicious new items to complement its menu staples that both locals and visitors have come to love over the years.

Byblos’s new Executive Chef Medy Serawi, in collaboration with INK Entertainment Group’s Corporate Executive Chef Patrick Ochs, are excited to welcome guests to experience the restaurant’s vibrant flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean. New menu items, which feature bold and regionally-specific spices to create Byblos’s coastal and cultural mosaic offerings, include:

– Braised Lamb Bourekas with sumac spinach, labneh, and aleppo butter
– Cauliflower served with pistachio gremolata, saffron, green tahini, and topped with pomegranate
– Watercress Salad served with halloumi, candied walnuts, pickled red onions, pita crisp and a sumac vinaigrette
– Baked Phyllo made with goat cheese, pine nuts, whipped honey and topped with sesame seeds
– Grilled Tiger Shrimp dressed in preserved lemon butter, crispy garlic, scallions and served with harissa
– Lamb Kebab with roasted eggplant, tomato, aleppo pepper, onion, and shishito, served with fresh lavash
– Baklava Cheesecake with pistachio butter, baklava syrup, vanilla, and marigold

In keeping with Levantine culture, the dining experience at Byblos is meant to be enjoyed family style with mezze (small plates) followed by larger dishes to share. Byblos also offers a memorable beverage program with signature cocktails, a tableside spirit-infused cold tea trolley, exclusive beers and wines from around the Eastern Mediterranean coast highlighting labels from Lebanon, Israel, Spain and Greece, and traditional teas including proprietary blends.
