When we last took the Brightline, we spent the day living it up in Fort Lauderdale. This time around, we took the express train service even further: all the way up to West Palm Beach. Instead dealing with traffic, construction and other I-95 woes, our car-less trip had us relaxing in the utmost comfort. Thanks to Brightline, West Palm Beach is no longer a world away. And because of that, more restaurants are within our grasp.

MFP Destinations: CIRC Hotel in Hollywood
When we used to think of Hollywood, Florida, the first thing that came to mind was Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Our idea of the city was centered around one giant casino property; in our heads, nothing else existed besides residences and a few local watering holes and restaurants. Why bother going up?
Boy, were we wrong. There’s a whole lot more to the city than we originally thought. If you’re willing to make the trek, it’s easy to spend a weekend or more with a full schedule of dining experiences and fun attractions. And right in the middle of it all is CIRC Hotel, the first hotel to open in Downtown Hollywood in decades.
A Day in Greater Fort Lauderdale With Brightline
For those of us living in Miami, Fort Lauderdale can seem like a world away (especially with that infamous South Florida traffic). Because of the distance and road rage, it’s not often you’ll find us up in Broward. But thanks to Brightline, getting to the 954 is no longer a mission.
A few weeks back, we rode the new express train service to spend a day exploring Fort Lauderdale. There’s a lot to do in this beautiful city, and the Brightline and its partners make it easy to fill up your schedule with attractions and — of course — food. Here’s a rundown of our day in FTL.
A Closer Look at the Norwegian Bliss
People always say you remember your first time. We certainly do: On May 8, we took our first cruise together. It just so happened to be on the Norwegian Bliss, the cruise giant’s latest and greatest ship. Its inaugural sail from Miami was a memorable one, giving media and other special guests an unforgettable experience.
Here’s what you can expect when taking a trip on the Bliss.
MFP Destinations: San Diego
When we booked a flight to San Diego on a whim, we had no idea what to expect. After falling in love with Los Angeles and finding San Francisco “just okay” in 2016, we hoped that our sudden decision to revisit the West Coast would end up with us creating some fun memories.
That’s exactly what happened in last month’s trip. In fact, we created our biggest memory yet: We got engaged. But that’s another story for a different day. If you find yourself in San Diego, prepare to fall in love with the city.
