Ariete
The creative minds behind Ariete, restaurateur Jason Odio and Executive Chef Michael Beltran, have curated the perfect Labor Day Happy Hour. Ariete – not typically open on Mondays – will open its doors in honor of Labor Day on Monday, September 4th from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Patrons will enjoy all-day Happy Hour specials such as $2 oysters, $10 Chug Burgers and $3 Fritas, as well as special pricing on other delicious favorites including grilled chicken wings, smoked fish dip and more. Select cocktails will be available for $7, along with $5 beers and a special Labor Day punch for $6.
Atton Brickell Miami
Celebrate the long weekend with Atton’s “Sunset Sessions” pool soiree – Labor Day edition. Located at Atton’s chic rooftop area, guests are invited to lounge by the infinity edge pool, relax in the private cabanas or check out the rooftop bar fully stocked with 50% off tapas, salads, sandwiches and specialty cocktails.
The Labor Day celebration will also feature a special rotating DJ lineup including local artists DiscoRocks, Apache, Shamizo and Geomia who’ll be spinning ’till sundown. Gili’s Beach Club
Over Labor Day weekend, Gili’s Beach Club will feature special holiday menu items including: Bourbon Honey & Tabasco Chicken Wings served alongside a cool cucumber ranch dip for $6; Miami Shrimp Boil with yucca, sweet corn, and salsa for $16. For a refreshing break from the last-days-of-summer heat, sip on the “Big Kids” Watermelon Lemonade spiked with Ketel Citroen Vodka for $10, or ‘No Labor’ Beer Buckets including 6 domestic or local beers for $20. Kiddos can get in on the fun, too, with the “Jolly” Watermelon Lemonade in a sugared rim cup accompanied by a sour watermelon candy for $6. Labor Day menu specials are available for lunch and dinner from Sept. 2-4, 2017.
Because grilling is at the heart of many Labor Day celebrations, Gili’s Beach Club also will offer a special lava stone dinner experience that Friday and Saturday (Sept. 1 & 2.) Locals get to grill their own meat, seafood or vegetable right at their table on a 700-degree lava stone while enjoying unparalleled ocean views. More details are below my signature.
Glass and Vine
Glass and Vine, star chef Giorgio Rapicavoli’s wildly popular concept in Coconut Grove, is making the long weekend extra special! All weekend, diners can enjoy The Burger and a can of MIA Domino Pilsner for $17 all weekend—regular price for the combo is $24.
The fun continues on Monday with Labor Day Brunch from 10AM-3:30PM. Rapicavoli, who has earned rave reviews for his brunch bona fides, serving up fresh, modern Floridian bites perfect for the long weekend. Brunch dishes include Sweet Potato Tater Tots ($7) – crispy tots with buttermilk ‘ranch’ dressing; Banana Johnny Cake ($10) – buttery cornbread, banana, maple, brown sugar; and Wood Oven Baked Eggs ($12) – confit garlic cream, black pepper, Grana Padano, grilled bread, cauliflower and nutmeg, with the option to add cured meat ($3) or truffle sauce ($4).
Of course, no brunch would be complete without beverage options. To wash down bites, the weekend menu features Bloody Mary ($10), Mimosas ($10/$35) and Sangria ($10/$35) with Chablis, Sauvignon Blanc, passion fruit vodka, fresh fruit.
Menin Hospitality
Clear your calendars because Shelborne South Beach and Mondrian South Beach are about to give you the staycation of a lifetime. Menin Hospitality, the firm that operates and owns these iconic hotels, is launching a flash sale on Labor Day offering 30% off all stays plus a $15 minibar credit at each of its hotels. Their hotel portfolio includes: Shelborne South Beach, Mondrian South Beach, Gale South Beach, Bentley South Beach and Kaskades South Beach. The credit will last through November 30th.
If you’re looking to soak up the sun for the last weekend of summer, then put on your ‘kini and cool down at Menin Hospitality’s most luxurious Miami Beach pools:

A Miami Beach landmark since 1998, Nikki Beach continues to delight guests with its South of France-style joie de vivre, lively DJs and dancers and iconic white daybeds and teepees.
