Who doesn’t like good food and delicious cocktails at a discounted price? Pisco y Nazca, where the food is inspired by Peru’s top ceviche eateries, is now offering their famous “Hora Loca” (happy hour) daily from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Kendall and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Doral.
Guests are now able to indulge in half-priced wine, beer, and house liquors. Booze isn’t all that comes with the happy hour. Both locations offer lite bites, ranging from $4 to $7, of handcrafted Peruvian delectable that will have you ordering thirds. Be sure to sit at the bar, as that is the only place the exclusive menu is available.
Pisco y Nazca Kendall also offers live music on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Friendsgiving at The Anderson
Just in time for the holiday season, All Day Foundation will be hosting the 3rd annual Friendsgiving on November 19th from 6 – 9 p.m. at The Anderson. Some of the city’s best chefs, bar owners, and spirits will come together in support of All Day Foundation. All Day Foundation, founded by Caroline Strauss and Gabriel Orta, is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the children in our communities by raising awareness across the food and beverage industry. This year’s Friendsgiving proceeds will go to the Chef Andrew Scholarship Fund, in honor of the life of our dear friend. As you may know, Andrew was a chef at 27 Restaurant who tragically passed away earlier this year.
Tickets cost $45 and will include unlimited bites and cocktails by some of the best in the industry. Participating restaurants include, but are not limited to No Name Chinese, Ghee, Mason Eatery, Proof featuring Pastelito Papi, Wynwood Kitchen & Bar, Drunken Dragon, Chef Sasha Ariel, Makoto, Ms. Cheezious, Generator Miami and Wynwood Parlour. Cocktails and beer will be provided by Don Q, Jim Beam, and Nightlife Brewing Company.

Common Threads Benefit at Lotus House
Start your holiday happenings with a night of artisanal pizza and inventive ice cream to benefit Common Threads programming at Lotus House. Ashley and Franco of Stanzione 87 will be making special ‘grandma style’ pizza with their signature 100% authentic Italian ingredients in the Lotus House’s new kitchen. Soraya Kilgore of MadLab Creamery with treat us to a sweet selection of her imaginative and Instagram-worthy ice cream creations. Beer and wine will also be served.

New Holiday Menu at Pink Pie
Pink Pie, the famed South Florida-based pie shop, offers Floridians a new way to celebrate Thanksgiving this season. The pie shop known for their 3-inch mini pies, will accept Thanksgiving orders for pick-up and delivery until Sunday, November 18.
Fans of the bite size pies can choose from nine unique flavors, including the popular Pumpkin Cookie Butter and Oreo Nutella to satisfy a sweet tooth, the Salted Caramel and Pecan Bourbon Bacon to appeal to a savory taste among others. Packages vary from 12 to 54 pies and prices range from $27 to $108.

Bowl for a Good Cause at KINGS Doral
All November long at KINGS Doral, when a guest bowls a TURKEY (XXX = three strikes in a row), the dining and entertainment venue will donate a turkey to Feeding South Florida in their honor. From now through November 30th, guests can alert the KINGS Doral team when they Bowl a TURKEY, and they’ll donate a turkey in their name for a good cause.
Mason Eatery Reopens After Revamp
Mason Eatery has officially reopened after a short closure to update the space and menus. The restaurant’s new look and feel will debut alongside Boombox, the newest concept by the team behind Beaker & Gray and Mason Eatery. After the June 2018 opening of Mason Eatery, chef/owner Brian Nasajon and team, gained insight as to what Miami was hungry for, and, heading into the busy season, they decided it was time for something new.
Among the changes, a brand-new dinner menu with thoughtfully sophisticated dishes, maintaining the deeply rooted classic American cookery found at Mason since opening. Tweaks to the brunch and lunch menus have also been made, and there will be a new Happy Hour menu with an expansive array of delicious food options. The culinary craftsmanship and innovative techniques, including ingredients made in-house, will very much still be at the core of the concept.
The approachable menus, which encourage sharing, will feature American classics with a Nasajon twist. The dinner menu will feature Light, Kinda Light, Hearty and Simple options as well as Dessert. Light options include Smoked Hamachi with coconut, dill and candied grapefruit ($16); Hammock Greens with black truffle, parmesan and oyster mushroom ($15); Salmon Crudo with horseradish, salmon roe and fennel ($14); and Black Grouper with honeydew, compressed cucumber and charred avocado ($14).
Kinda Light dishes will include original favorites such as the Bagel Bites with nova lox, garlic churro and dill cream ($13) and the Avocado Toast with crab, hollandaise and chive ($16) and new dishes including Pinchos with buffalo chicken, clover honey, salt n’ vinegar ($14); Cheese Poppers with oaxaca, pineapple chili and bacon ($12); and Charred Broccolini with green goddess, almond and black garlic ($14).
New Hearty dinner dishes include Short Rib Wellington in a croissant with pickled mushrooms and chicken liver mousse ($17); Pastrami on Rye with rye pasta, pastrami carbonara and black pepper ($15); Crispy Skin Duck with creamed collards, waffle cone and sour cherry ($16); and Braised Short Rib with potato gnocchi, gruyere cream and cipollini onion ($21). Favorites like the Mason Burger, Oxtail Pot Pie and Truffle Mac n’ Cheese remain on the menu.
Sweets, created by of Pastry Chef John Maieli, will remain the same with the popular Jars, Cookies and Bars being offered during lunch. A Tiramisu with almond macaron, vanilla bean cream and coffee spuma ($13) has been added to the dinner menu.
