It’s no secret we love brunch, and Tacology’s new brunch offerings have us head over heels. The Mexican restaurant inside Brickell City Centre recently launched its Sunday service, and by the looks of the crowds, it’s already a hit. We’re not surprised.
What can you expect? A lot of Mexican classics along with twists on American staples. We opted to skip alcohol for this visit, swapping the booze with horchata and jamaica beverages. To be frank, both refreshing drinks made us forget all about making the Sunday extra fun. Instead, we saved our calories for the onslaught of food. Our meal began with flavorful starters like Aguachile de Camaron Verde and Pescado Rebozado (fried fish ftw). The latter was especially tasty — so much so that we wished more came with the order.
Heartier mains included standouts like the Lobster Chilaquiles and Avocado Toast Perfect Egg, both of which can be easily split among a group. One thing you won’t want to share is the Pozole Rojo with pork and cacahuazintle corn. We slurped it up fast and were grinning ear to ear by the end of it. For dessert, you’ll likely want something on the lighter side to end your meal without feeling too guilty. The Paletas are perfect for satisfying that sweet tooth while keeping you from hating yourself. Overall, you’re in for a treat should you choose to spend your Sunday here. With a giant menu and giant flavors galore, brunch at Tacology is a no brainer.
