Restaurants and other venues across South Florida are pulling out all the stops for the holiday, and we’ve rounded up some of the best specials right here.

Americal Social

As the first long weekend (for some of us) in 2021, Memorial Day is to be celebrated with bottomless bubbly and breakfast bites. On Monday, May 31, join American Social for an extended weekend brunch available from 11:30AM – 4PM.

Guests can find AmSo’s popular brunch menu items including the Breakfast Sandwich, Cinnamon French Toast Crunch, Wide Awake Steak & Eggs and Breakfast Pizza. Accompany your sweet and savory breakfast selections with a splash of OJ and prosecco – bottomless mimosas are available for $25.

Café Prima Pasta

This Memorial day swing by Miami Beach’s favorite home-style traditional Italian restaurant and pay tribute to all of the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice by serving our country. Join Café Prima Pasta in especially honoring one of their beloved and heroic customers, a fallen veteran in the Afghanistan war, by serving his favorite dish. On this day of remembrance, indulge in the restaurant’s special Pasta Penne Marinara, topped with crispy garlic, olive oil, and fresh basil, and available at a special price of $5.31. Café Prima Pasta will be open on Memorial Day from 4:30PM to 11PM.

Española Way

This Memorial Day, Española Way is commemorating veterans by partnering with the “Hyundai Air & Sea Show” for a street-wide celebration on Friday, May 28, 2021, from 6-8PM. There will be a public performance on the street by the official United States Army Band and complimentary refreshments and bites for all military members & veterans (proof of Military ID required) provided by Cigar Bar and other participating restaurants. Admission to the street is free and a great way to thank our troops.

Catch the Memorial Day Weekend Air and Sea Show right along the seashore with a watch party at Sweet Beach Pop-Up Bar in the backyard of the Shelborne South Beach Hotel. Catch the Blue Angels and other gravity-defying exhibitions flying over the palm trees as you lounge in the Oasis Garden.

The dishes combine farm-fresh produce and herbs with Caribbean-inspired spices that pair amazingly with a refreshing craft cocktail. Verde at PAMM

Bring the whole family down to Verde at the Pérez Art Museum Miami for a twist on the usual Memorial Day barbeque. After trying some of Verde’s tasty BBQ specials, guests can enjoy PAMM’s Sounds and Stripes celebration, explore the museum’s assortment of indoor and outdoor exhibits or relax on the terrace for some live music performed by OIGO while the kids play with free art-making kits. Sounds and Stripes will be held at PAMM on May 31st from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The museum is offering free admission to active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their family members.

Veza Sur

No matter what Miamians have planned for Memorial Day Weekend, they can now enjoy Veza Sur Brewing Co.’s popular CHANCLETA on-the-go with a limited release in 16oz cans – just in time for the long weekend celebrations!
