La Mar x Torno Subito Collaboration Dinner

On Friday, August 25 La Mar by Gastón Acurio will host a one-night-only dinner celebration to welcome Torno Subito by Massimo Bottura to Miami. Enjoy a seven-course collaborative dinner menu by Torno Subito Miami’s Executive Chef Bernardo Paladini & La Mar by Gastón Acurio’s Diego Oka. Reservations are required. Seatings available at 7 or 9:30pm. Tickets are $200 per person and include a welcome cocktail.

Messi-est Happy Hour at R House

The arrival of soccer superstar Lionel Messi has sparked a frenzy of excitement and passion in the 305, as the legendary player brings his talent and charisma to the Inter Miami CF. Messi has quickly become a beloved figure, leaving an indelible mark on the Magic City both figuratively and literally as massive murals of him fill the city walls by street artist Maxi Bagnasco. R House’s backyard patio oasis in Wynwood, offers a front row seat to Maxi’s most viral larger-than-life masterpiece and is celebrating the soccer icon’s influence in Miami with a dedicated Messi-est Happy Hour.

Exclusive to Happy Hour, Wednesday’s through Friday’s from 4PM to 7PM, guests can chow down on the Mila-Messi ($12) – a chimichurri chicken Milanesa sandwich on fresh ciabatta bread with a garlic herb aioli, arugula, tomatoes, and thinly sliced red onion. The Mila-Messi pairs perfectly with $3 Argentinian brewsincluding the dedicated GOAT 10 (Prison Pals Premium Lager – 4.8%) and Quilmes (Argentinian Lager – 4.9%).

In honor of the pink Miami jersey, guests can imbibe in half priced pink specialty cocktails such as the Spritz Spritz Spritz, with Grey Goose Essence Watermelon & Basil, Aperol, Fresh Watermelon, Elderflower Prosecco, and Citrus Perfume; Award-Winning La Reina Margarita, made with Herradura Silver Tequila, Cointreau, Passion Fruit, Dragon Fruit Float, and Blue Orchid; I Love Lychee, with Ketel One Citron, Fluffy Lychee, Fresh Raspberry, and Crumbled Milk Chocolate; Dragon Fruit Frose and more. Half-off wines and $7 well cocktails are available as well.

Those looking for snacks and bites can enjoy the 1$ Chicken Wings, Short Rib Empanadas ($7), Spinach and Kale Empanadas ($5), Charcuterie Bites ($5), and Guacamole ($5), House-Cut Chips with salsa ($5) offered during Happy Hour and $1 Oysters – available on Friday’s only.

 

National Bao Day at Hutong

Hutong will be celebrating National Bao Day next Tuesday, August 22nd with a variety of different offerings for local diners to enjoy!

The offerings will include:
– 100 complimentary bao buns (on a first come, first served basis) available outside of the restaurant (600 Brickell Avenue) from 1pm until baos last!
– A $20 per person layer of Hutong’s popular Bao Tower (truffle mushroom bao, roasted pork bao, pan-seared ginger lobster bao) available all day for the holiday.

 

Jaguar Sun Teams Up With EDGE Miami

EDGE Miami (1435 Brickell Ave) welcomes Jaguar Sun, the beloved Downtown staple, for one-night only dishes and cocktails on Saturday, August 26th. Jaguar Sun’s own Will Thompson will be serving up drinks, and Chef Carey Hynes together with EDGE’s Executive Chef Aaron Brooks will be crafting an eclectic culinary experience. Guests can expect fun cocktails, live music and a four-course dinner menu showcasing the new flavors of EDGE mingled with the vibrant taste of Jaguar Sun.

Reservations are available via OpenTable for $135 per person.

 

Pure Green Opens at The Goodtime Hotel
